Part 7:-Side effects of the news

RK read the paper and kept it on the table in front of him.

He leaned back on the couch folded his hands and got lost in the thoughts.

Bittu entered the room,"Chief,the director called..."

He stopped in between his speech as he noticed that his chief is not paying attention to him.

He noticed the frown in RK's face.

He looked in the direction where RK's sight is fixed.He saw the paper.

He immediately took out his phone and dialled the number and addressing his chief he told,"Chief,you don't bother about this.I'll handle this.You please don't take tension."

He kept the phone near his ear and increased the pitch of his voice and walking away from the room said,"Hey,what do you think of your self?Do you think that owning a paper to publish the news,you can publish anything?..."

His voice faded away from the room.

But RK is not in the state of even noticing his arrival and departure .

His mind is filled with thoughts.

Is the news published in the news paper true?

He was not able to kiss the heroine today.Was it because he has feelings for Madhu which prevented him in doing so?

No he does not have any feelings towards her.

He just married her to torture her not because he loves her.He wants to take revenge for her slapping him.

But why did he bother so much when she got hurt her leg in the studio?Why did he give his coat for her when she got wet?

Because she might catch cold.

So what? what makes the difference for him,if she catches cold or not.He just wanted her to suffer.Then why did he care for her?OK, why did he carry her in his arms to the car?

Because she had hurt her leg and was not in a position even to walk.

Then,what is the necessity for him to carry her to the car?He could assign some people to do so.Or he also could have made the car parked at the entrance of the studio.

Because...because...

His thoughts are disturbed by the entry of some one into the room.

He looked at the door.

It is Madhu.

She smiled at him.

He reciprocated the same and then noticed that he is smiling, he forcefully brought back his lips to normal.

She came near the table and is about to reach for the paper saying,"RK,can I read this?":

Then he immediately grabbed it and told,"I'll give you, once I finish reading"

She told,"OK,I'll have a shower and come back.I've tired alot".

She noticed the high volume getting out from the TV ,which has been running from long time ,(without getting anyone's attention till now);and lowered its volume and she entered the bath room .

He took the news paper and tore the papers in which the news about him is printed in ,and kept the pages in his wardrobe.

He sat back on the couch and suddenly another question suddenly appeared.

Is this the same RK who in the press-meet ,humiliated Madhu?

What happened to him?

Why did he hide the pages?

Why did he think that she might get upset on seeing the article?

So many questions are revolving in his mind,in addition to the questions that are in his mind since morning.

He leaned back and closed his eyes.

The place is quite dark.

Suddenly,light came from nowhere.

It seems that the light is evolving from her beautiful skin.

She is sitting on the white park bench.

Her black gown is highlighting her beautiful complexion.

He is not able to turn away his eyes from her.

He approached her.

He kneeled in front of her and outstretched his hand,looking into her mesmerizing ,lovely eyes.

She kept her hand in his'.

He pressed her hand and stood up.

She also stood up.

He spoke,"You are my love,You are my love.I can't live without you."

She is still looking into his eyes.

He said,"I love you,Madhu"

He kept his hand on her waist and dragged her closer.

She closed her eyes.

He kept his other hand on her cheek.

She placed her hands on his shoulders.

He took his lips closer to hers'.

Then RK closed his eyes.

Suddenly he opened his eyes.

'What was that dream?'

Then suddenly his eyes looked in that direction and stopped there,from where Madhu has entered.

She just came out from the bathroom,drying her wet hair with a towel.

His eyes got fixed on her.

Tum paas aaye,yun muskuraaye,

Tumne na jaane kya sapne dikhaye

Ab to mera dil jaage na soota hai

Kya karoon haaye,kuch kuch hota hai.

He noticed the song.But he could not state whether the song is coming from the TV which he hadn't noticed till now or from the bottom of his heart.

But he is sure of one thing.A new question has taken birth just then,which can answer all the questions in his mind that had arised from morning.-

Is he in love with Madhu?
