Yes he is all bluster, putting up a show, afterall his an actor (in the serial). Showing off that he is a god too, so I can't sit on the floor like mere mortals, I will eat meat, go upstairs and his alone with no audience he cannot give in to total decadence and his concious instilled in him by his father won't let him decline any further, he is so troubled mentally by opening his mouth and pouring in the alcohol and eating the meat, instead he keeps looking at those modaks and mouli and he wants to go back on the right path, but before he does he just wants a reply from anyone, whether it be madhu or Ganpati himself to give the reason why he doesn't step in for him when he was needed and for madhu too. So lets see if madhu will find the words tomorrow.
...his success could be because of that same god Ganpati babba, madhu's lack of 7 pheres could be gods' way also for breaking RK's ego, when she leaves (after the repayment of the loan, if she was fully married she couldn't leave) that ego of his will breakdown and respect his mother and his wife.
