if DD is acting like Geet so what...what is wrong in it...she is not copying anyone ...BTW she is not doing comedy..she is just irritating RK...Madhu & Geet are two different characters & DD is giving her 100%

first of all I wanna say that muskaan,geet & madhu r played by one girl n that is Drashti Dhami...so if she cried as geet then she will cry as madhubala in same way...so u can't say when she cried mujhe geet ki yaad agayi...same case is for her comedy...n honestly speaking today DD was just fab...her comic dialogues in the bar was perfect...it didn't remind me of Geet for a second...n madhu did comedy intentionally...n when u r doing comedy u can't make a straight face...may b u didnt like her facial expression but for me DD did it perfectly!

She was really good. All those emotion built up to that one moment to rk.. To show she is not effected.

I loved todays part...

Atllast dd had some dialouge lol...

I tuink she is doing a fav job. :)

I never said she is copying geet!!!! Emm...

I think I have made this point clear that- it's about her chracter, don't every chracter have something different!!!
To all those who saying oh it's DD- she can't change her eyes nose...
Ehh obiously, obiously it's DD...
But if shall I say in clear- for eg. SRK who played a chracter in DDLG also in Devdas, played by same but different chracter, however obiously he can't change his laughing style can he? No- obiously Not.
But he changes his chracter, devdas and raj is completely different chracter, the way they deliver the dialoge is completely different.

Now coming back to madhu, the way she have build her chracter up, here, in my openion, I am not telling anyone to change anyone's openion bcs that would be stupid, - she should mild those comedy dialogue, she should mock not comedy tone!!!!!

I hope that made little easy.

I am not here to bash dd, if we can say she is a fav, today's epi was amazing etc...
Than why can't I criticise her act? The way director told her to deliver those and specially the writer...

So please to those people, I just read apreantly I am bashing... How am I bashing? Just bcs I am criticising comedy?

Please keep the discussion healthy as this is just my openion... I am not bashing anyone or saying anything... To me today and yesterday mocary lacked and I feel strongly.

There was perfect modulation in her tone wen she had 2 b chirpy 2 irritate rk and wen v. next moment d seriousness was back wen she had 2 get her point across rk.
Moreover this change in madhu is 1st step 2 change in rk.
Madhu got rk back 2 his playful mode 4m his traumatised state . Thou subconsiously.

Umm, Drashti Dhami is definitely Gujrati and if you are referring to her "native language" it would be Gujrati but she was not speaking Gujrati. As far as the small Punjabi line in the Sharab scene, I think that the Kundras and Bhatias (RK's step-father and stepbrother) are of Punjabi origin...so I am guessing the writers did that to show that Madhu was trying to reach out to RK and everyone present at the bar in their respective tongue, which also added a touch of comedy. Drashti has been an experienced and frankly a superb actor...she has acted very well in three popular tv serials and in my opinion she has portrayed each role beautifully and I have noticed the difference between the way she showcased Muskaan (from DMG), Geet, and Madhubala. I get lost in the plot and her portrayal of MB and I don't think in retrospect of Muskaan or Geet...I love her.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. 😃

I think she is delivering well...she isn't regressing into Geet but I feel like the CVs were encouraging her to go a little more whimsical in that dialogue delivery similar to the way RK has his delivery...
