Today's episode seemed sloppily written. Were the writers on holiday or on strike? There was hardly any story or character development, only fillers.

Scenes merely emphasised the characters's deep stupidity and lack of communication. Madhu knew that Malik had been upset by overhearing about her forced marriage. Why then does she create a long drawn out scene of rona dhona in front of the invalid? And holding onto the hand of a person who has had all the bones in his body broken while you are being dragged away...Is Madhu meant to be deeply idiotic, or just plain cruel?

This is clumsy writing and poor direction.

The redeeming two seconds in this part of the episode was the expression on Trishna's face and the sagi sauteli mind game that RK played on his way out with Madhu. It was consistent with the character and his ability to read people and cause them anguish in a well-planned manner. Trishna's look showed that this girl can act, only if the writers decided to actually build her a character rather than use her as a convenient plot device.

Madhu was very good in the scene in RK's house. Again, this wasn't good writing, it was Drashti's nuanced delivery that made the lines powerful.

Summary. Writers need to work harder. Actors: good job.

lol even I was thinking that Madhu leave his hand. WTH his hand was being dragged. I felt so bad for his hand lol. And as for Madhu's crying, I didn't find anything wrong in it. She went there to meet him and cried because his health was worsen. I too felt weird by Trishna's look. What was that? I mean she looked so scary or idk how can't say it 😕

Btw, I really don't Like RK involving others in his revenge. Why does he insult Paddy? And bring madhu's real dad vs other one and saying Trishna as step-sister etc. People will not like him as hero :/

There is nothing wrong with Madhu crying but she should thave that loud argument outside the sickroom. After all, she knows that Malik over-heard her marriage situation and this lead to a serious fall in his condition. The sanest thing would have been to leave the room, rather than cling onto a dying man's hand like a fool.
and Madhu is not a fool or insensitive, so the blame must go to the writers who wrote such a poor scene.

I think the writers were trying to show the direness of Madhubala's situation.

It could have been done in so many better ways.
picture this:
Madhu is in the sickroom. A storming RK enters. Rather than arguing with him there, she takes charge of the situation, showing her ability to think on her feet, and pushes him out of the room, silently.( I am thinking a decisive hand on his chest here.) A sick room and hospital has that affect-- it conditions human behaviour, even for someone like RK. For a split second he would have recated to her ssshh and they would have been outside, before the devil in him kicked in.
Then they could have the rousing scene in the corridor, seguing seemlessly to Madhu's mom coming to her defence after hearing the sounds of the altercation.
If the writers are trying to make this scene the reason for Malik's death, then that can alo be precipitated by Malik hearing the same altercation, despite Madhu's best attempt to shield him from it.
This would have upheld Madhu's character profile, and made the whole thing less medieval and more compelling.

Yes, it is called critical viewing. One tries to appreciate and offer intelligent and constructive criticism at the same time. Why don't you try it sometime

You can surely blame the writer for poor plot, dialogue and characterization cause they have to come up with a story which is different from all the rest. It really sucks cause if the audience can predict what will happen next , then the writer had done a disservice. But then the writers are not the only ones responsible cause there are very few scripts which are played just as the writer has intended cause the director, actors, producers, and so many others make changes to a script that will water down the story. In most cases the script goes through so many revisions before it will end being totally different then what was originally intended.

But by all means, lets blame them all cause they can surely not blame us for our lack of understanding.

completely agree with every word. 👏
