OK I guess last night RK hurting Shamshu happened for this reason.

Madhu fighting for a complete stranger didn't go well that much with us.

So from now on she will fight for her family because RK hurt her family and especially Shamshu who doesn't have any blood relation but was the best father anyone can have.

We have been saying from the first day Why Madhu is risking her sister's dreams and her family for someone whom she has met only for 2 days and when the victim and his family doesn't want to file a complaint.

So maybe Makers are justifying Madhu's hate and her future revenge from RK, by making RK hurt Shamshu.

After a good night's sleep this is what I think now for last night episode.
