Maybe there are lot of scenes before the wedding. So they ahd to have a 1hour for Thursday. THey couldn't just show MAdhu accepting money like that. First they will show how they try to get money from other sources and failed.

Madu does not wear the red salwaar kameez when she gets married, she wears a red lenga and is dressed as a bride. But RK wears the same clothes so I don't know why in the pics it is shown madu getting married in salwar kameez, I so a video clip showin her in these clothes but at the end of 9th August episode madu has a lenga on.
