Okay, since Rishabh has made everyone speechless with his kameenapanti , kuttapanti , bicchuupanti , vilaingiri, devilgiri , tharkeygiri and who knows how many pantis and giris ' let's just say that this was coming. You are talking about Rishabh Kundra here , who if was to ever teach a lesson in school , it would be ' " Revenge is best served cold and if you can top it with some ice cubes and garnished snow, nothing beats it."
Rishabh is an emotional island ' heartless, cold, conniving , a powerhouse who is happy with his voltage and current until you go and cause a grid failure. Love, affection, emotions, humanity , sensitivity , beauty , poignancy ' he is alien to anything and everything that 'FEELS'. In a way, he reminds you of those secret agents , spies and people on missions who are conditioned to cause damage , who are de-sensitized and told that hitting the target is important- whatever happens on the way is necessary evil .
Maaliks' feelings and honour are nothing for Rishabh ,Paddy's respect and struggle hold no importance for him, Romaa and Trishnaa are pawns for him- all of them are stepping stones for him to ruin Maddy. When you look at him today , at first you feel angry and then, you feel pity for him. What will an island like Rishabh know what it is to have the strength and guts to fight someone like Ballu because you want to save the ones you love. How will Rishabh understand or even comprehend that it takes a man of ethics and a golden heart to adopt a family only because he puts humanity first? How can Rishabh even see what a doe-eyed loving daughter shares with her foster father? How will Rishabh FEEL the pain that he caused today to the woman he is obsessed with and her cocoon?
No. Rishabh cannot understand any of this. You need a beating heart and a vulnerable humanity to feel someone else's pain. Rishabh shut down long ago or maybe life never gave him a chance to be human enough. In a way, he reminded me of a Klaus-Stefan scene in TVD where Klaus looks into Stefan's eyes and tells him ' SWITCH IT OFF. He tells him to switch off his emotions, shut down his emotional machinery and become what he is ' cold , calculative and a killer. That is what Rishabh is ' SWITCHED OFF. To have even basic sympathy and human sync with anyone, you first need your sentimental switch in place. If its not , you are clinical and nobody and nothing gets to you. You are numb.
That is what Rishabh is ' numb , switched off and a whole winter season that snows. Whatever should have been in his heart has been re-directed to his head. A head that is passionate , aggressive , self-obsessed and yeah, pathological. Self love is the greatest love in his life ' an empty but well decorated glittering life of 29 years. A life of 29 years slapped in the face by Madhubala Shamsher Malik with a taunt of 4 powerless days. And for a man who only understands power , power abuse and a self proclaimed throne , this is WAR. He has built a nice pretty ice palace for himself and Maddy brought in a fire ' a fire that is burning him and now, he wants to burn down Madhu and her whole world in it.
So, don't think about 'how' Rishabh could do this. He can. Any man , any woman who is SWITCHED OF can do it. He will understand and rue what he has done today when, one fine day , he knows what it is to love , lose and protect. When he feels what it is to be vulnerable and when his heart shows the first sign of life.
If you want to teach Rishabh what it feels like to burn, you have to throw him in a fire first. What he doesn't feel will not even register with him.
For the rest, my heart went out to Paddy. Rishabh only knows her status , not her story. Ironic much? The same applies to him as well ' we know his devilry , not his story. In his bid to finish Madhu , he has no idea that the person he wounded the most is Paddy. Paddy , who , somewhere still lives in the fear that one not-so-fine day , Ballu is gonna walk back into her life , take her into his arms and demand his baingan ka bhartaa. Paddy is still in Ballu's shadows.
Madhu? She has a definite thing for Rishabh ' unresolved , angry , intense . And this love with the hero in devil's disguise is going to cost her her life. The kind of love that consumes and finishes you. That is Madhubala's destiny and no matter what a crazyball or monsterball Rishabh is , its him and her all the way. Like Rishabh said it today ' "Everytime she falls, I am going to hold her. As long as I am there , Madhubala will never fall." Sounds like a big joke at the moment but it is a future memory.
P.S- Tomorrow is TRP day and I request you all to give the PH some leverage since they have been fantastic recently , and not treat this as an examination. Just watch the show and if the hardwork and more importantly good work has to pay off, it will. Okay?
