Mallik family stays at filmnagar chawl and RK had asked bittuji right in the beginning b4 the first press conference to find out everything about madhubala,so its an open secret of the chawl about how paddo reached there and was then saved from ballu's hands by the junior artists,so i guess someone might have spilt the beans.

Honestly, I have no idea. I think he had people check out Madhubala's background or Balraj and RK found out in jail, but didn't show that scene to us yet.

RK is superstar, he and bittuji as well know everything about Roma so they must have been known this too that Malik (who is fight master himself I think) is not married so it is easy for them to search where about of Madhubala from chawl because it is rightly said in begining that it is film fraternity chawl and everybody from chawl knows about Malik family so for money anyone can tell the truth. This is how he must known the truth. He is smart he does his home work well.
