So I have a few speculations about Rishabh and Madhu's future story.
I think the stunt with the photos in the newspaper doesn't do the trick, and her and Mukund stay together. Or at the very least, try to, despite his mother etc.
RK gets drunk and forcibly does the phere (incomplete though they are), and fills her mang. I saw the video, and although Madhu seemed to just follow along, I don't think that means she agreed in any way.
She honestly looked very very lost, and confused as to what was happening. I think she was still confused after he put the sindoor on her. In her mind she isn't married, and I don't think RK considers that a marriage either. A claiming, yes. A marriage? No.
I think we jumped the gun a bit when we speculated that that scene meant marriage. It didn't seem planned out. He seemed almost like he had lost his mind 😕😆, and just acted from impulse. He will realize when he sobers up, I think.
But any speculation I had of the scene being a dream was cleared up upon watching Madhu's father storming into RK's mansion in a following preview. He was obviously pissed about one very public claiming of his daughter! 😆😆 RK was chilling on the stairs. Just splayed out so comfortably along the bannister, and holding a drink. It seems that sobering up didn't change his opinion of his behaviour. I wonder if that stunt was planned, and being drunk was a part of the performance. I don't think so though.
The "marriage" scene was beautiful though. The wardrobe alone was filled with implication.
RK's bollywood king jacket, his brazen, uncaring, and "mine" attitude was just 😲. And then you have Madhu's beautiful simple red suit. And all the while, she's trailing along helplessly confused and bewildered. The flashes of photos being taken, while the two of them act out their own little play. A live performance for the rest of the world, but that for them, is very real indeed. RK's drags her along like so much baggage 😲, and she desperately holding on to the other end of her duputta, not even realizing the significance of each end being held on to so tightly.
Then he stops the phere just when Madhu is supposed to take over, saying that RK doesn't follow anyone.
Was it really that, or was he aware of her confusion, and that the only thing that kept Madhu silent and cooperative was her shock.? He needed to do this quick and fast.
Following that he arrogantly fills her mang, with out so much as a moment of hesitation, and with so much force that her head snaps back. I barely caught the look on her face, but she seemed so focused on him.
Trying to figure out what drugs he'd taken, I guess 😆😆. But really, poor girl. She's in for one wild ride 👏😉
I wonder where Mukund fits into all this 😆. Are he and Madhu still together at this point? I think yes, but just barely.
