I rarely post in this forum or any forum. Just visit only to comment on DD profile. But thought of contributing to this post.
Lot of people might think when the TRP was falling for this show, Indian audience is not accepting any new concept except Saas bahu shows. But I disagree. Indian audience gave this new concept a chance in the hope of seeing a new thing. Proof is the first two weeks TRP. It was 2.8 & 2.6.
Second week at the end of the week, we got female lead entry. But as soon as her entry, focus was taken away from her the next week on Monday and was given to a parallel character Trishna. Suddenly show became about trishna dream, trishna studying, trishna marriage. Madhu was lost and kept in the background. Almost all the precaps are focused on Trishna and not Madhu. From there TRP started decreasing.
Third week end we got a promo about Madhu Mukund promoting as someone who will be Jaan se bhi Pyare. My first repulsion scene of this show. We were promised Drashti and Vivian as the leads of the show. It is difficult to accept female lead to have a love relationship with someone else other than the male lead, that also this initially.
When we saw the episode, of course there was nothing like in the promo. From there all focus was on Mukund. Manish was not looking good with DD at all, which makes the scenes of them together not appealing at all. Next came male lead entry. Entry was promised but we got a part of his body in every episode When we got tired of it, we got his full entry. It was so much delayed. So no increase in TRP for the male lead entry.
Madhu having such a close relationship with a stranger is not digestable for me. She fighting for the right is OK. But shaving him, sitting so close to him, visits everyday is strange and which makes us difficult to know what Madhu was feeling about Mukund. It was very confusing why Madhu was behaving like a wife with a stranger. Mukund's mother was right in questioning her. So thought it was the end but the next day she was again hanging out with him. She has told Mukund she does not love him, which was a relief. But the next week again we were forced to see engagement scenes. As a viewer I'm in the hope of seeing Mukund track to end and show to focus on filmi life and not on family drama.
So far Madhu' character has not been shaped well. She was a girl fighting for the right. But she does not question Mukund about him faking his illness in front of media. She only saw he destroy the cheque. But as viewers we could see it was to impress her.
So in my view, and for me Mukund track is spoiling the show completely. By this I'm not asking to give full 20 minutes to leads. It won't work either. We have seen that in Geet too. But the main focus should always have to be on the leads and not on the side characters. Here in this show it is not happening so far. We only still count with one hand how many scenes we got of main lead in one frame in nearly 2 months. We are not asking to show them all the time. But we hardly see them in the show.
One more thing is we were promised filmy background story. Junior artists's struggles and problems they afced instead we are getting a normal family drama. We have not seen Padmini, Shamsher, Roma or anyone shooting on the sets. Even RK is also not shooting now and spend his every time plotting. He was shown as the villain and Mukund as the hero.
Initially show is promoted well. But main tracks like Madhu/RK first meeting, their dance sequence, and this week newspaper fiasco is not promoted at all.
In my view, viewers were not getting what was promised, which is the cause of less TRP.
