first day of accident I thought same bcoz they can change the complete scenario in future ..even now they have chance of that bcoz till now they didn't show that character. .

later in future they can introduce the other character which is close to RK n influencing him...or as said by someone it can b his dad...or cvs can simply forget that n proceed with current flow...

any way not showing that character will benefit the cvs to mould the story

I agree! Since his father should be entering the show soon, it could very well be his father driving the car because when RK first got his bike, he seemed to drizzle champagne over his bike and then the leftover bottle he rolled away on the floor. Normally when people celebrate, they drink. So maybe he doesnt drink at all and it was someone he's covering for. Cant wait to see what happens next Im sooo irritated of this whole Mukund accident track.

I also don't think he was the one who was driving the car.

Maybe he is not protecting someone. He might just don't want to justify to anyone. He is that kind of a person I guess, who doesn't like to justify or defend himself. So he is remaining silent and facing all these things by himself.

I think later on when Madhu realized Mukund's family's intentions and RK was not the one who was driving the car she will stop this obsession of hers to send RK to jail and let it go. But then RK will attack her as a revenge for what she has done. And she won't have any other choice but to accept whatever he asks for.
