Guys this is no bashing post so please refrain from bashing any character or actor. Lets keep it as a plain discussion post and may be as we discuss, me and the other members of this forum may figure out many aspects of the show that they fail to understand...That they feel unreasonable etc
Confession: I am a huge huge huge DD fan...I think she is a fabulous actress and has a great potential to carry it off any role given to her. So spare me if you feel that i am no DD fan and have opened this post to bash/target her etc
My issue here is with the way Madhubala character is shaping...Its unrealistic and unreasonable.
When the show started the characters that were introduced (Balraj, Dai Ma, Takurain, Padmini, Mallik, Roma etc) ignited our screens formed the crux of the show.
Then came in Madhubala the lead protagonist who is to shoulder the story forward...But since the past 1 week what have been shown of Madhu is kinda unacceptable or should i say that since RK entered (The white car accident seq) they have butched Madhubala's character irrespective of what she is shown to be...
Being her mother's daughter i understand that this is one female who can't stand injustice. And based on that her filing the case is in total sync with her character...On knowing that it was superstar RK's car that caused the accident her determination to see the culprit punished did not wither off...This is also in total sync with her character.
But there are a few things that don't hand in hand with the character sketch of Madhubala Shamsher Mallik
1) She placing her fight for Justice above her sister's dreams which she voices as her dreams too...
2) She barging in to RK's press conference. I agree with what Padmini said today...Madhu's fight was for Justice but today her fight is against RK the person...How did that happen, why did that happen? More than anything all she wants today is to see RK behind bars...For somebody who places the likes and welfare of other before her, how could she not think about what a superstar like RK- who rules the film industry can do to the junior artists, technicians etc in her chawl, once she riles him up?
I agree there can be many layers to a character, but what has been shown in the last few days are completely contrasting with what has been shown earlier...
This mess up has actually had adverse effect on the show...I really wish that the CV's/ makers concentrate on such delicate details, after all when its about the lead, and the one whose story this is about...even the smallest mistake in the character sketch can affect the story and the show...
Note: No offense to anybody guys...Just wanted to start a healthy discussion post...Do share your views...
