"OMG"Trishna shrieked, literally jumping a foot up in the air.She gave out another shriek as she clutched onto Madhu's arm tightly.All signs of tiredness and gloom over reactions seeped away as she heard the news her younger sister broke to her.Her face looked as bright as the sun.
"Say it again!"she yelled in an excited voice, while Roma jumped up and down beside her, also very happy for Trishna ,whom she treated as a daughter.
Madhu smiled, happy for her sister. "They are looking for a fresh face to cast opposite RK and will be holding open auditions all over the country, including here."she repeated. "Didu, he said that in his press conference too. See, now u have a chance to make your dreams come true."
Trishna let go of Madhu and twirled around,looking dreamy."Why does he need to comb the whole country?"she spoke dreamily."When RK meets Trishna Mallik,there is no way he will need another heroine.Ah,I can already imagine,the lights,cameras,me beside RK..."She trailed off lost in her dreams, while Madhu shook her head fondly at her sister.
Roma grinned."Yes, Heroine, this was the reason why God made u wait so long. Ur destiny lies with RK."
"U are right Roma.."said Trishna,still dreamy."Wow,I can't believe this."
Madhu held Trishna's arm affectonionately."Didu, I'll do ur make-up this time, myself.Okay? "

RK worked on his treadmill, his face expressionless as he watched the news. Apparently, the open auditions were hot news, and the media seemed to be trying their best to dig up a spicy story as to why Tia Zaveri wasn't the heroine in RK's first home production. Presently, he could see reporters swarming outside Tia's home, as a reporter spoke to the camera. "We are trying to contact Ms.Tia Zaveri regarding the auditions, but she remains unavailable for comment. We are still trying to give our viewers a good reason for why they are being denied the onscreen sizzling chemistry of our sizzling Bollywood pair, in RK's first home production and-"
RK switched off the television and carelessly threw away the remote. "Bittoo Ji."he called.
Instantly, Bittoo was by his side."Yes,Sir?"
"Is everything set for the auditions? RK only takes the best."
"Yes sir,yes Sir." said Bittoo nodding vigorously. "Er"he hesitated, wondering whether he should voice his thoughts or not..
"Spit it out, Bittoo Ji."
"Yes Sir" Bittoo Ji stammered. "Sir, I was wondering, sir, I mean, are you sure about the auditions? I mean,we.."
"Bittoo Ji" said RK coldly. "When Rk says something, he means it. RK doesn't need anyone to succeed. I don't need people. People need me. The auditions are on tomorrow. If u don't want to take responsibility, I can arrange someone else . Otherwise, I don't want opinions. Is. That. Clear?"
"Y-yes sir, of course, Sir" Bittoo managed to utter.

At a luxurious apartment situated in Mumbai, Tia Zaveri sat on her couch, a drink held in her hand. The light from the nearby reflected off the diamond ring on her index finger and fell on her face,so that a part of her face remained in darkness. She lifted the glass to her lips, delicately taking a sip before placing it on the table. She brought the ring near her face, and stroked it subtly, her dark eyes showing that she was deep in thought. Her mind replayed the press conference of RK she had seen a few hours ago on television. She had remembered the slight change in his features when he had been questioned about her."Open auditions"her voice that uttered these words held none of the singsong quality she usually had, but was more of a hiss now, laced with pure malice. "RK. I will not let u escape so easily. "A hint of a soft smile played on her lips, but it added nothing to the beauty of her face. "U cannot forget me now, RK.U need me baby" she crooned. "Tia Zaveri is not one to give up."

THE DAY OF THE AUDITIONS
Trishna sat still as Madhu applied blush to her cheeks, highlighting her features.
"There" said Madhu laying down her brush. She put her arms around her sister and put her chin on Trishna's shoulder. "U look stunning Didu. Now I only need to do you hair, and U will be divine."
Trishna's eyes met Madhu's in the mirror, betraying her nervousness. "Do u think I have a chance?"
Madhu smiled at her sister's reflection in the mirror. "Didu, U will be perfect. Why r u so nervous. "She moved to the dressing table ,and picked up a comb. She ran it gently through her sister's hair, untangling the knots. "The Didu I know doesn't get scared."
Trishna's hand reached out behind and clasped Madhu's hand. "I know, but this is RK we are talking about.The RK. Can u imagine?"
"I'm sure he's as human as any of us"Madhu said with a small smile,as she gently freed her hand from Trishna's and began combing again. "Don't try to think of him as RK, as if he's made up of initials."
"But he will still be RK!"Trishna was getting really nervous now."Pray to God, glycerine, that I don't stumble!"
"Didu, stop it now" said Madhu firmly. "U'll be fine."
Roma poked her head in. "Heroine, U ready?"
"Just a minute"said Madhu quickly. "Didu, I am leaving ur hair open, u look gorgeous this way. Roma, tell her how she looks?"
"Simply an Apsara from heaven"said Roma, staring at her. "Heroine, u will be chosen I bet."
Trishna jumped up, clutching her purse. She gave Madhu a quick "Thank You" kiss on the cheeks and pulled Roma out with her."Mom I'm going,"she shouted ,as Roma ran to catch up with her."Glycerine, pray for me"
"Good luck, Didu" said Madhu, happy to see that her Didu was finally on the way of realizing her dreams.
