Yes, Trishna ...the name itself is very suggestive...thirst, isn't it?...has every potential of become the antagonist of sorts in Madhu's life.

It's actually sad to see the way both Madhu and Roma have to keep reassuring her that she'd done a great job on the dance floor...that the main dancer had been looking enviously at her, that nobody could take their eyes off of her...adding to her misconceptions...

I don't think even Madhu realises how committed her sister is to shine like a beacon...I'm not sure that Trishan isn't aware of her shortcomings...hence the constant need for reassurance. And the over compensation by behaving like the chaudrian...

God help the two sisters when Madhu lives Trishna's dream and gets the guy as well.

The short dream sequence was the icing on the cake...clever, clever CVs..giving us an unexpected taste of the cake to come.

Poco, you know I never missed commenting on your posts but like button never got registered. Today first time in this two weeks it worked. Perhaps because this is the most impacting analysis of yours in this forum so far. The logic is quite simple and the future relationship is very much expected by all but the way you described and put forth the past and present facts of the obvious it's proved that great people don't do different things, they do the things differently.
First your Genesis and now Evolution, it was on spot. I don't have anything more to say on your analysis, the triangle. You said it all.

Trishna and Madhu - a relatioship that will in time face a big rift.
It saddens one to just think of it and makes me resent RK a teensy weensy bit (he is not at fault I know)
