Haila! Poor old Rocket Singh, what bad luck! If I were Mukund, I'd stay well away from Miss Madhu ji.

I'm guessing there'll be a pyaar ki kahani between Madhu and Mukund? I'd much prefer that to Madhu and RK to be honest. From the first promo in which RK entered, I felt that he would be...hmm...unlikeable to say the least. In fact, I think he will be better as an antagonist than the main love interest in the show.

I would like to see the love angle (if there is one) between Madhu and Mukund but have the media/fans romanticise a phantom love affar between Madhubala and RK (as we, the public, are wont to do). Since the show is shedding light on the 'real' world of the industry, it makes sense to go down this route, showing how Madhu's personal life is affected due to all the rumours and link-ups.

(This is all given that Madhu and Mukund don't become a sugary sweet pair. I couldn't stand that.)

I finally realised (okay, read) where I'd seen Mukund before - he was Channi's husband in GHSP! Poor guy - every show he's done with Drashti seems to have him ending up thrashed around and injured 😆

I agree with you that RK is going to be the main guy of the show and will most likely end up with Madhubala in the long run. I highly doubt he will be portrayed as a one dimensional negative character and, of course, we will be shown different and more appealing facets of his character as the show progresses. If he is the drunk driver, he will be redeemed.

However, I personally think I would enjoy seeing him as an antagonist rather than the 'hero lover' type that his character will probably become. I have no qualms about the focus of the show being on RK and Madhubala - that is, after all, where the show seems to be headed. I do, however, think it would be more intriguing if the love story was between Madhu and Mukund and we got to see the complexities of the three's relationships and how they separate reel and real life.

I guess what I really want is a show to deviate from the norm for a change and not have the people who are 'supposed' to end up together actually get together.

As for PKYEK, I can't say much since I did not follow that show.

Hmm, I'm a bit skeptical as to whether Madhu will fall for RK first, especially via dreams and Trishna's obsession. If anything, I think she will form a cemented resentment and prejudice against him if he indeed is the guy responsible for Mukund's accident. And if you add on top of that that he brings her into the industry against her will (and especially against her wishes for her sister), I'm willing to bet that Madhu is going to harbour a serious grudge against RK for a while.

Haha, well I don't know about the Salman-Katrina and RK-Madhubala parallels but I too did briefly think of Salman Khan when I saw Mukund's accident. The difference between RK and Salman seems to be that RK obviously continues to be the apple of the industry's eye whereas Salman, though still immensely popular, seems to have found his image and popularity with the public regressing in the last few years.

Episode 21:


Scene 1:

I kind of like the Inspector...he is good...in acting i mean...😆

the kind that gives u creeps...Inspector Ravi Pradhan...n i like the BG score that they play when he in on the screen...

so he is trying to find the relation between the two..hmm...

his family has now come...mom dad sis...

lol...i love the way he was dramatic in the whole thing..poor mukund...

so dad wants a second opinion...n seems he is not very pleased with his son...

n he doesnt seem like a supporting dad...

i never like those parents who complain b4 their kid to some other person that they r good for nothing...

n here comes the real dad...helping his son ...when he is in pain...

chota mrs dixit...🤣...his wife...

Madhu is here...telling his parents what happened...

n praising their son...how good a salesman he is...

n left them baffled...😆...clarifying everything...

Mukund in thinking mode...of what she said...

so he is a poet...interesting...

Scene 3:

n here comes the Inspector...

n says there is no case at all...

n she questions him...

.he is asking her to withdraw her case...

n here comes the most awaited entry of the week..or rather since the serial started...

• For a person as sharp and street smart as Madhubala seems to be, she's being pretty naive and blind towards the inspector's intentions.
• Why do the 'good boy' types always have a sassier, pyaari si chhoti behen?
  
• "Meri heart se nahi, meri nose aur lungs se pooch lo." Ai hai, MD! How romantic! 😆
• LOL our girl really should invest in some strapped shoes.
• Ooh, it looks like Miss Madhu ji is quite smitten with a certain salesman. You have my blessings ;)
• The inspector. Eck.
• Okay, star or not, I want RK to be punished for drink driving. I don't care if you have the entire world in your fist and a few cool millions in the bank, you don't get away scot-free for something like that.
• Also, I forgot to mention that I did like Vivian's acting in the final scene - looks like Godot has landed at last. I think it might take a bit of time for me to warm up to him but so far, so good.
  

i think it in a way shows the reality of society..didn't that mostly happen in delhi..isn't this power exploitation from politician's children and politicians and actors the very reason why we ended up with a milestone case like Jessica lal's? ...i mean. its harsh. its injustice. but its the harsh truth. some people for power do get away from a lot of things..so many actors have been in hit and run cases in bollywood industry but it is never very severely taken as such. this happens. its the truth. rk does seem negative.grey. someone who completely exploits his power and doesn't give a damn about the consequences..i think that is clear enough when he rides his bike while the police are following him telling him about the FIR case...he's grey..very grey..but is their a heart..a caring heart hidden beneath that raging pompousness and seeming inhumanity with the exploitative facade of a typical rockstar? time will tell. all i can say is he is already one of the most interesting characters in the show..it will be a lot of fun to dissect and analyse him..and his relation with madhu. i can't wait.

Two things I don't get ...one, why are some members(not in this thread but in the forum in general) confused about whom MB will end up with?

Isn't that a given?

Secondly, why do they think that RK is directly responsible for Mukund's accident?

Of course, I could be wrong on the second count as I haven't seen the latest promo or the one with RK on the bike...or is that one and the same?

I can't imagine a lead character of any Indian TV show doing that..at least I hope it isn't RK behind the wheel ..hope it is a lafange brother or cousin or something.

I hope it's a case of mistaken identity where MB assumes it's RK and continues to believe it coz she thinks he's capable of anything thanks to the kamadenu cop's recital of RK's 'gunns'.

Mukund doesn't bother me at all..he's sweet and soft and won't have much effect on MB...temporarily, may be, till the Real Kick ass lover turns up and turns her world upside down.

Interesting thing about MB's slippers disappearing under the seat after every jerk...apart from the constant breaks required to be applied on Indian roads, those jerks are so metaphorical...every time the poor girl moons over Mukund, there's a jerk and she' pulled violently out of her romantic thoughts...almost as if RK is present in her head, applying those breaks and weeding out those irrelevant feelings.

As for the slipper thing...apart from what kaamchorni said about getting sandals(good one!), the fact that all and sundry men who travel in the bus has had an opportunity to push the slipper back to her.

At first, I thought it was a special thing about Mukund...but now I see it's a regular thing in Mumbai buses...didn't know that the average Mumbaiaa is so kind and helpful.😆


In other words, that action is not special to Mukund and was never meant to be...just like Mukund himself. He's just a catalyst.

And, any feelings MB may have for him is soft, sweet, warm and cuddly...that will disappear without a trace once RK overwhelms her and creates such a passion in her that she'll learn the real meaning of "Ishq" and "Junoon."

Episode 22:


Scene 1:

The intro scene of RK...loved it...

fully filmy entry...film ke through hi hui...

okay...confession...i loved his entry more than Madhu's ...

n here comes star tantrums...

n inspector comes there also...accident case...

girl is not getting convinced to back out...hmm...

lol..he was making fun of inspector...n knew that he is not an honest one...

Madhu n her mom r discussing abt Mukund...n how rich people do anything they want...

she tells that Inspector was asking her to back down...but she will not...her mom is with her...

love the mother daughter bond...

Trishna is explaining to Malik that he should take care of himself n not do much stunts...

n she is saying abt Mukund to Malik...when Madhu comes there...

n Madhu is getting irritated...😆

ok..i like the real kind of thing...that he has to shave...while in hospital...cant c himself like this...or dont want her to c him like this...😉

i dont like when people say that they r just average...i mean what is wrong in being average...i am, myself an average person...i am not an over or under achiever...

so i really dont get the thing abt being average...
