I think Roma will give the raw resources to Paddy of a backbone to build a basic foundation for it ..i think she will just give Paddy simple modes of building a back bone which Paddy will build for herself , and Roma will just give her the basic resources for that...i think so cause Roma is just such a spark of colour within her vivacious smile and outrageous frilly , curly tendrils that remind you of wild scarlet blooms laughing at the alms of the sun...she is the kind of happiness bubble in disguise who tells an opressed , abused and helpless woman broken down on her knees with messy , weak hairstrands flying over her dried tears to get exactly a minute more to pour a pinch of a tear more to shatter within the granules of her skin , then dab it furiously , and wait for the rain so that a spark of colour , chance and life named Roma can give Paddy rainbow coloured veins instead of exhausted and straved ones bulging out of her unhealthy skin..cause her life has lack of colour , that will be swept away by the futuristic dark clouds through Roma's practical shower of a home , food and financial needs that will give Paddy the will and the way to construct her own made spine that will conquer those subconscious hallucinations of a beastly husband and will have the courage to build a beautiful life for Maddy, Trishoo and herself..while Roma and Shamsher will automatically become strong barriers between Balloo and Paddy , not to worry..their bonds will save Paddy and the two munchkins and will make Paddy evolve and grow further!

I think her main aim right now would be to find some sort of a footing in Mumbai. Being able to stand on her own feet and put food on the table for herself and her daughters, as well as keeping out of Balraj's clutches. I don't think they'll cross paths just yet, to be honest. But yes, when the time comes, she will have to retaliate and I think that as her character develops, she will be able to build enough strength in herself to do so.

She has already progressed from a virtually spineless doormat to a less timid woman who ran away from home. I think that when she sees her daughters in danger due to Balraj, her protective instincts will allow her to become the sherni she needs to be.
