Its a good thing that both Avni and her mother are very reluctant to forgive Avni's dad. This man had left his impoverished family to face life alone and defenseless just because he did not have any courage to fight the odds and somehow provide for his family. He took an easy way out by marrying a rich girl.

How low can a man get. so low? I am sure he must have lost respect for himself too.

It won't be unfair if his wife and children show him the door and accept nothing from him.

Would like to hear your thoughts on this guys.

I agree...

He made his choice and left them helpless to die..He betrayed his wife and his children..

He is feeling guilty and is trying to appease his guilt conscious by throwing money at his previous family.

I can find only one redeeming factor about him that is he saved Avni's life for that he should get some credit..

Wow its just totally amazing plot line at the moment! Im totally blown away by practically every actor/actress in this show! Im a real critic and believe me if something is not good I shout loud hence my posts on DABH forum!! But this is just the best i think i have ever seen!! Talk about subtle! I went through about eight different emotions! Who ever is writing this is a genius! And who ever cast these people is also a genius!!! THAN YOU STAR PLUS!!!

I totally agree with you about the guilt he is feeling right now and yes his saving Avni cannot be overlooked. But yet again I pause to think that maybe he thought this to be the best way to re-enter their lives and that too as a hero...but wait, yet another thought. His being a farther maybe surfaced from somewhere within him and he risked his life to save his daughter. I don't know what to think. I am a bit confused!

He is some confused dude who doesn't know what he wants exactly...He left his family to get rich and got married to a rich girl..
Maybe he has re-entered Kaveri aayi and her family's life because either his 2nd (illegal) wife is dead or is of damn nagging nature unlike Kaveri aayi's nature...So he is trying to find solace with his ex-family for his loneliness...
Well,he saved Avni from drowning...That point cannot be overlooked...But Avni is also right for her behaviour towards him...She has the last memories of him, when he abandoned her in rain, when she, as a kid, was pleading him not to go...But he left her in rain and went away with his infamous chhaata (umbrella)...😆

loved ur post. yes truly the man has been so unfair with his family. he has been selfish enough to leave his family at the hands of faith n lived a luxurious life himself.

avni is right in neither recognizing him nor respecting him as his father. he saved her life thats ok. but then this cant negate the pain that he has given to his family

I agree he chose an easy way out , gosh what he though that a bundle of money he left would b sufficient for bringing up 4 kids . He never ever cared to even check how they were , alive or dead , n now he is gifting payals to his daughter , trailing her . if he wanted he could have secretly helped his wife n kids . HE is worser than earler greedy version of Bhaskar.😡

Have to agree with the above on that one! I can't stand the dad, he is so smug and conceited thinking he can just walk back in flashing his money around! Ok so he saved her life. Her mum has been saving her life since he left.

No forgiveness..

Also you cannot come out of nowhere and be part of the family. They have grown apart and lived their own lives for 20 years, they have nothing in common, to bridge that gap is not possible. The only memory kids of of Dad is the person who left them all alone, left them to die, it is Kaveri who supported them and struggled alone...

The dad will never ever be accepted, he cannot buy forgiveness by throwing money..he should lie in the bed he made.
