Avani's father turns saviour

In Maayke Ke Se Bandhi… Dor, Prabhu's plan to drown Avani during visarjan failed as a stranger saved an unconscious Avani. While the family was shocked to see Avani's state, and rushed her to hospital, Avani's mom, Kaveri, was taken aback to see the stranger who saved Aavani.
A STAR Plus source elaborates, "Avani's drowning incident stunned everyone and in the rush to get to her, save her and take her to the hospital, the family hardly looked at the man who rescued her. But Kaveri did and she realised he is Suryakant, Avani's father and her husband. In tonight's episode, while Avani will battle for her life in the hospital, Kaveri will have a confrontation with Suryakant, asking him why is he back, after all these years?"
A stunned Kaveri states, "I can't express what I felt or thought when I saw him standing there. One part of me was glad that he rescued Avani, but I would have been thankful to whoever would have done that and another part of me was angry at him for coming back into our lives after disappearing for such a long time. Yes he is my husband and the father of my children who left us years ago. Avani is the only one who remembers him as she was old enough to understand that he left us. Abha and Aditi were too young. I don't understand why is he back? What does he want? We all suffered the blame and taunts from society over his disappearance so what right does he have to return when all is going well?"
Suryakant claims, "I am glad God let me save my daughter, Avani, or I would have never forgiven myself. I am happy she is in better hands at the hospital and hopefully will recover soon. I can understand Kaveri's resentment towards me but I had my reasons which I will share in time. For now, I am glad for the safety of my family especially Avani in the wake of the accident. As for Kaveri, I hope to reason with her and have a heartfelt talk too. All I can say is I am back for good."
A frantic Bhaskar is worried for Avani. He says, "I was scared and felt I had lost my Avani. The accident shook me to the core. My heart sank when I saw her drowning and I couldn't reach her. I was happy that this stranger saved her and all I could think of was to take her to a hospital. Though Avani is at the hospital, she is taken care of and still unconscious and I am praying she gets well soon. I thank God who saved my Avani or I would have been devastated. I was pained to see her in an unconscious state. These are tough times and I have to get through this for her sake."
