I fail to understand - his family mistreats her all the time - they don't trust her, they keep taunting her, they don't understand her, they unfairly pile work on her. More importantly, they cheated her into the marriage itself.
After all this, I simply cannot see any reason why Avni is still putting up with them! She should just walk out of the house and file for a divorce - she does not deserve the treatement she gets at Bhaskar's house. I'm sure even her mother would rather have her daughter come back home as a divorcee than allow to her to be ill-treated at her sasural like that.
In totality, I don't see one sensible reason why Avni is staying on at Bhaskar's place. What about you guys?

..
n believe me many Indian middle class women who r even having jobs put up with lots of nonsense n horrible behavior frm In -laws ...its not tht easy to convince yrself to walk out of the marriage after living with a man for months or years ..only when some things go beyond a level according a person's tolerance ...a wife files for divorce ...

its so easy to say to the girl ...to walk out ..but not tht easy to face the trauma of divorce ..being labeled with the tag of divorcee in India

wat abt those who put up with physical abuse by in laws

Avni is newly married and Bhasker was very good at winning her over and all she wanted was love from him and thinking she will win his family over... but she was in for a very rude awaking...Bhaksers past came to light...and now with babas help she has stareted to teach them all a lesson... it very slow but she will get there i also think its going to get very nasty between A&B... as for the divorce i think it will happen but not yet.

I do understand what you mean, and in fact Avni should be lauded for being brave enough to stand up for herself in that house.

Also, different people really do have diff tolerance levels - while I am more impatient and feel that she should leave, others are completely open to persisting and fighting the situation for now. Like you say, it has only been a month...

Perhaps! The divorce will happen but not so soon - and then if it becomes a typical hindi serial they will start to fall for each other just before the actual divorce.. šŸ˜†

That's a very good point, maybe she is there for the sake of baba - he is really as sweet as a biological father would be...

u c its a daily soap ..they will drag it n drag it like anything šŸ˜•..till either bhaskar bcomes a sweetie pie or avni divorces him ...in the original one he starts loving her after divorce šŸ˜²šŸ˜†
😲
...n here one thing i like which is being shown ...
even if the hubby sometimes wants to b nice n reasonable ..the mother, aunts, sisters n brothers brainwash him n accuse him of being hen-pecked ...then a man with a big ego wants to prove he is not weak ..ends up doing wat his mom, dad, n oder family members want ...n ends up misbehaving n abusing his wives ...but when they realise ..its too late

I find many in laws responsible for making their son & daughter in -law ..hav a bad married life

I hate Bhasker and also hate docile character of Kaveri. Kaveri undermines all efforts of Avni to be independent and do whatever she wants with her salary. Kaveri enables Bhasker to be evil.

The whole story is very very slow..all the episodes so far have dealt with Bhasker extreme criminal greediness and Avni's inlaws abusing her..Even in the future Promos deal with Bhasker criminal greedy nature.

Stop watching for a month and come back the story would have moved much forward ..they will be still show various ways of Bhasker's greedy nature.

I know! A lot of times I have myself felt that Bhaskar does actually like her, and would have changed for her, and shown a lot more concern towards her.. but there is no scope thanks to the overarching presence of his aai in his life..

Kaveri is certainly at fault! She cannot read people for nuts, and hence got Avni married there. Besides, she could have made Avni confident and secure enough to stand up for herself, e.g. when she found out that Bhaskar lied about his degree.

A very well written post šŸ‘ well said without making use of any derogatory or indecent words...😊

avni is newly married. at first she fell for bhaskar's honesty n decency. inspite of big mouthed inlaws she said yes to the marriage just bcz she trusted bhaskar blindly.
she took all verbal abuse in her stride just because bhaskar use to mallow her down with his sweet talks.

now thats she is getting to know about bhaskar's real face n intentions she knows that nothing can be expected of him n that now only she has to keep fighting them all in the same way so that they get to learn their lessons plus there isnt any great family discord. all thanks to baba who told her to muster so much courage.

however, the walk out thing...this is india n u know it isnt easy to walk out of marriage so easily. girls in the society start from making minor adjustments n dont even know when they start making major adjustments...šŸ˜• just to maintain their family peace n so that their own parents dont have to suffer at the hands of indecent taunts made by the so called society.

no matter how much we advance the truth remains the truth. some things can never change. even if the guy is nice n sweet n respectful his family members would not like it completely. they wont leave any chance in instigating him.
moreover u know how a guy's mentality is. they can never accept a overpowering wife.šŸ˜•
bhaskar is happy that his wife is earning more than him but in reality this becomes a matter of ego for the guy.
so many times its been witnesed that girl has to leave her job or has to make compromises after marriage something like taking up another job or so.

guys wont mind having parties with their female collegeues but at the same time they would mind it of their wives work in a MNC or some company which involves interaction with males...

truth is truth...n this show depicts it all.

if it goes beyond limit then divorce is an option. i hope it doesnt happen in the show n bhaskar corrects himself before this situation arises.
