avni and bhaskar are ready for satyanarayan puja . avni performs some rituals. both are dresed in a typical maharashtrian style 😊
bhaskar's dad tels them that since its a new begining for them they both should make some promises with their ownself. bhaskar closes his eyes and takes an oath to earn n seek more n more money 😕 whereas avni takes an oath that her Dor with her mayeka wil remain the same n she l do her best to keep her in laws happy.
at avni's house
they also perform the puja....denoting the new yr according to the Hindu calendar. abha n aditi asks the esence of the puja. avni's ayi tels them that it denotes the first day of the yr and for some ppl its the day when Lord Ram defeated Ravan.
at bhasko's house
everyone is siting for the puja esply aranged for the newly wed. avni's ayi n siblings come. however, bhaskar's mom taunt them for being late.
pandit ji starts with the tilak...n soon after bhaskar's mom gives some signal to the pandit...😡
the pandit then asks avni's mother wether she has bought a gold jewellery item for the puja to give her daughter or not........😕
she is taken aback. bhaskar's mother says that for the puja its an important part n avni's mother shouldnt have forgoten it. its important since it denotes "a sukhi jeewan" for the maried couple.
however, bhaskar's dad tels his wife to let it be n start the puja. he says such things hardly mater.
but as usual Lata doesnt pay any heed to her husband.
avni's ayi is all woried n tensed. avni then gives her "ring" to her ayi n tels her to use it for the ceremony. however, bhaskar's mother interferes n tels avni that she knows how much a daughter is atached to her mayeka but after mariage she should know that her in laws do things for their children benefit. she says that giving ur own ring wont make any diff n wont work. avni says that this ring was given by her ayi n not by her in laws. 😕 stil Lata remains adamant.
avni's mother sends abha to anearby jewelery shop to by some jewellery item. she goes to the shop but finds everything over budget...as presently her ayi has only 2000 with her. so she buys a silver coin of Ganesh JI
she returns with the coin n gives it to pandit ji. pandit ji makes a remark , " ya to chandi hai sona nahin"............avni's mother looks at abha. so does bhaskar's mother.
however, his father tels pandit to just stop all this n proceed furthur. the pandit then says that the girl's mother can give her gold jewelry item for time being which she can take back after puja.
aditi tels her mother to give gold chain.................😕 the same chain which she has already given to bhaskar........bhaskar had sold the chain but had kept the money since prabhu through his contacts was able to get bhaskar's ayi treated for free........

precap: avni asks bhaskar that why didnt ayi give her chain? she is confused. mausi tels abha tat her ayi had already given her chain to bhaskar. abha is adamant to tel this to her sister avni 😕
