And all about Women Empowerment...

Yet this serial shows a hen pecked husband, a greedy mother in law and sister in laws, an idiot co brother and an even stupider SON!!!

What kind of b@ll less guy - lets his mother treat his wife and her family is this fashion...

If their truly are mother in laws and husbands like this then, I think any today's woman would be happier single, and parents too would rather their daughter be at home than married into a family like this...

I thought Maryaada was the worst show on TV but this serial does the impossible job of falling even lower in its treatment of women... and on STAR PLUS which is suppose to be all about WOMEN EMPOWERMENT!!!

SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!

I never thought to see the day when Star plus and women empowerment would be used in the same sentence!😃😃

Really? all those saas-bahu serials, are about empowerment?......all those serials promoted as 'reflecting the new attitude' and 'new twist' which all end the same, girl/boy getting married, girl staying at home and serving food while decked out like a christmas tree??.....Not empowerment, but actually supporting the established norms of society and it's redundant values.
Even this serial, supposedly about an independent girl is going down the route of obeying husband and in-laws despite her being treated like dirt. The so called independed girl is hesitant, timid and cannot judge people at all. I quite like her outspoken sister, that is the way to be.
So just sit back, watch the girl give her job up, stay at home and serve her husband and venomous MIL (who is after dowery in a different form) and still be the innocent despite seeing people's true colours. Oh and yeah, husband will change and they will fall in love with each other.

this serial is going to show how she fights hard to make her in-laws realize their mistakes.Once she understands they are never going to change, she MOVES FORWARD IN HER LIFE WITH HER CAREER LEAVING THEM BEHIND.

All of us want woman empowermwnt. Even in real life, a woman cannot find out on the second day of her marriage about the cruelty of husband. In this case, the husband atleast acts as if he is supporting the wife. Only the viewers are fully aware of the husband's plot but not the charecter AVNI. There are many such low level houses where every one in the family is rude, selfish and cruel to Bahu. How is it possible to confront them by a woman , ( I am not talking about the educated urban crowd) and leave the house on the second day of marriage.
Please viewers give the CVs some more time. When Avni gets to know the real face of Baskar, you see what happens. I know the story but do not want to share it in forum and spoil the suspense. Please watch the full 1000 episodes, and then tell how much of woman empowerment this story will give it to women

Yup the story is just starting ....there wud be lots of negative nautankis ....

No one can really speak out in initial days ..maybe just out of decency....its only step by step she will get to know the real face of everyone ....including her hubby who is being nice to her '

All men r nice in the first few weeks 😆......most of them show their true colors gradually 😉

Curiosity is lying in wat wud Avni Do ...Will Bhaskar finally realise that a wife is a life partner ..not a bank account ....😭.....I want him to repent n fall in love with her in reality

That is the reality that has been shown, that such people do exist for whom marriage is a kind of deal to extract money from girls side and all their lives treat them inferiro just because they belong to Boys side,Such women exist who carry the responsibility of their house on theor shoulders so what do they do when they have to marry?who would look after their house then?
I really want Avni to stand against her MIL tortures and maintain her dignity. How sick these people are, really!

If you find this 'regressive', then you must watch Barjatya's movies, or karan Johar's movies.
Where everyone wears designer clothes, everyone is happy, ever smiling, eats yummy food, breaks into songs-dances at every chance. But Unfortunately, we Indians and our society are not like those movies.
These things happen in most of the women's lives. Look around. How many of your frnds, cousins, neighbours gets married becoz they are working or their parent's manage to pay huge dowry.
In most of the middle class families, women need to be working or should have good financial back-ups apart from being beautiful and educated, to get married! EVrything looks good about the marriage but dig a bit and you will know why and how these marriages take place! Evryone have some or other purpose behind in tying nuptial knots.
And they move forward from thereon! And thats life for you!

I found this serial extremly truthful in depicting the lives of women. No unnecessary drama, no 'rona-dhona', no larger than life images or no super-hero or super-heroine images!
In fact, women can connect to this than to those ekta kapoor's serial picturised on those dumb sets where it rains and snow falls in Summer.
