Vivan Bhathena, model-turned-actor, is currently basking in the glory of Chak De. Rachana Trivedi spoke to Vivan about his future plans.
How was the experience of working on Chak de?
I always wanted to do films. And it was a great learning experience to be a part of this successful project. Now I'm hungry for more such roles and want to make it big in Bollywood. I am very choosy about the kind of work I want to do. Currently, I am busy reading scripts.
How are you enjoying your role in Maayka and Kumkum?
Shabd is a very positive character. He lives life on his own terms. However, Dhruv is completely different. But right now I have another project in the pipeline which is a daily. If that happens then I might even leave Kumkum, because it's impossible to do three dailies at one go.
But now what's your priority, is it tv or films?
I am not quitting or taking a break from television for films. My main priority is television as it has given me all the recognition. Also, I'm not so much in a hurry to do films. I think I can balance both
Tell us about your new show?
Talks are on with the producers but nothing has been finalized. It'll be a daily and I hope it happens.
Any new films?
I want to make it big in Bollywood. Nothing has been finalised as yet. Currently, I am busy reading scripts.
