‘Maayka’ TV Ratings at an all time high!

'Maayka' TV Ratings at an all time high, the show moves from Zee to Sahara.

Zee TV's soap superseding Star TV's soap? Well, that's exactly what happened last week when the TV Ratings of Zee's 'Maayka' beat that of Star Plus's prime show 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'.

Now, this should have called for a big celebration at Zee TV but, the irony is that the channel has sacked the entire cast and Classik, the Production house of 'Maayka'. Cashing in on the success of 'Maayka' is Sahara TV, who has approached Classik and has asked them to produce a similar show with the same cast but, a new name.

Aarti Singh, who plays Sonia Malhotra and Urmila Kanitkar, who enacts the character of Raji Malhotra, have been signed for the show. The entire 'Maayka' controversy has caught public attention and with the show now moving to Sahara it's quite and embarrassing story for Zee.

Aarti Singh and Urmila Kanitkar are happy to be working again with Classik. The only change however, is that their 'Maayka' is no longer Zee but, Sahara.
