Nandita Puri and Sudhir Pandey

Nandita Puri, Sudhir Pandey, Pankaj Berry and a few other actors who walked out of Maayka are very upset with stories that they have been sacked. Nandita says, "There has been a lot of misinterpretation going on. People have been referring to us as 'sacked actors', but the fact is that we walked out of the show as it was an injustice to sack Klassic Production house. The new producer who has taken over has shown us dead in the show, other actors have replaced us.We haven't cut off ties with the channel either. Our creative director Anjana Sood and the head of Zee TV, Subhash Chandra Goyal has assured us that we will be working with the channel in near future. We have problems with the executive producer Pearl Sahi, not with Zee."
