Aroona Irani, the veteran actress who consented for Balaji's Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii on a request from Ekta, is apprehensive that her role in the serial is going to end soon. The feeling is not baseless and comes from the fact that the actress has been shooting only for three days in a month for the serial now. However, she has already started shooting for the Zee TV's Maayka, where she is playing the character of a possessive mother straight taken from her film Beta.
As Aroona explains, ' I have a very different and negative role in Maayka. The character fascinated me immediately as it's inspired from my role in Beta. I loved what they have narrated to me. It's a central character of a possessive mother. I felt weird shooting with such a different and gaudy look inspired from the 1970s as I don't use such make up anymore. I started shooting for hem since yesterday and it's a very comfortable unit to work with.'
As for the ending of her character in Ekta Kapoor's Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Aroona prefers diplomacy and says that Ekta is a very creative person and she must have thought something like this would be better for the serial. But the veteran actress wants a decent exit from the serial in consonance with her stature.
