tina leaves with her luggage. darji closes the door. moni says to darji how can he be so cruel, tina is just a child. darji walks away.
adi tels some people he called them here to give them good news, mahi got good responses for her article. everyone claps. adi says seeing the response there will be a separate issue for women, two ladies mrs. payal and mrs. anjali and mrs shiavan will lead. mrs shivani says she cant handle it, mahi should do it. adi says mahi is right for the post and should get a promotion, maybe mahi cant devote the time needed, she has to devote 12 hrs, a whole day. mahi says she can do it, she wont compromise with work for anything and will work with her heart, she wont break his confidence, she learned to fight situations, she accepts the post and is ready to work.
pammi says to sukhi to make sabzi, tina loves it. they see moni sitting on the floor. sukhi asks where is tina. darji says tina left the house permanently, he told the truth they have been living with, he said he wont forgive her dad, he didnt kick her out, who got her there. sukhi says to dari he did, he didnt see her love in her eyes, she stayed with strangers to get forgiveness for her dad, he didnt see her courage or give her a chance. pammi asks darji how he can do that, she is his own blood. darji says if his blood isnt his own, so what is his bloods blood. pammi says blood relations dont erase. sukhi says he will go look for tina. moni tells sukhi she will go with him. darji tells sukhi if he takes a step outside the dors will be closed for him forever. darji says he no one is his own, he doesnt need anyone, if he can live without his son, he can live without them. darji leaves. pammi cries. moni consoles her. pammi cries that tina left them. darji watches pammi cry.
darji remembers tina. he goes to her room and looks at the empty cupboard. he has flashbacks of her again. darji sees a letter. moni,sukhi and pammi come. moni reads it saying to forgive him. darji imagines tina's dad asking for forgiveness saying he turned away from everything, he lost everything and darji's love and trust, he realized this many days later, and to accept tina,if he reads this letter this means he is dead, this is his final wish to be forgiven and for darji to accept tina. moni asks darji if he wont forgive his dead son. pammi cries and puts her head on darji's leg. pammi says because of his stubborness she lost her son and now her granddaughter too, tina came to learn the culture her son sent her and he can stay alone now because her son or granddaughter isnt with her. darji cries and tells sukhi to find tina and bring her back to her own home.
