Hey guys, it's Reema. I haven't been to IF in a very long time, so i thought i would visit. Just as I got here, I had a sudden urge to start a Mahi-Shabd fanfic. So here it goes. Hope you like it. =D
Pehli Mulakat: Chapter 1
So our story starts out in the beautiful beaches of the one and only, Goa. Here, we see a couple talking on the boardwalk near the sea. The woman seems to be a tourist while the man seems to be native of the shore side city.
Sonia: Shabd, tum mujhe kyun nahin bataya ke tum ek secret agent ho?
Shabd: Main tumhe kaise batata Sonia, mere kaam hi kuch aisa hai ke main tumko nahin bol pyaa. Anyways, main jab tak tumhari asliyat nahin jaanta, main tumko bol bhi nahin pata.
Sonia: To main tumko call kar sakti hoon na? Jab meri flight land karega?
Shabd: Tum mujhe call kar sakti ho, leken main England jaa chuka hoga. Ugh, main yeh baat bahut zor se bola.
Shabd then puts his watch to his mouth
Shabd: Yeh ek 936 hai hum ek kutta so rahein dekh raha hoo raat par, aur uski haat darwaze ki andar se ek hadi nikal rahein hai. Bing Bang Walla walla bing bang' zoop.
After all this nonsense, Shabd puts his hand down and again looks at the woman.
Sonia: To tum mujhe call karoge jab tum England se wapas aoge right?
Shabd: Mujhe nahin lagta ke wo ho sakta hai Sapna.
Sonia: Meri naam Sonia hai.
Shabd: Haan main jaanta hoon. Tumhare safety ke liye main tumhari naam change kiya.
Sonia: Oh
Shabd: Ab humko humare alag alag raaste pein chalna hoga.
Sonia is now reaching in to give Shabd a kiss
Sonia: To yeh humari goodbye
Suddenly Shabd puts his watch to his face right before Sonia comes in.
Shabd: Theek hai. Moving Out!
Shabd makes a run for it along the boardwalk. Abruptly a jet ski pulls up near him and he jumps on it.
Man Driving the Jet Ski: What the hell is your problem?
Shabd: Chalte rahon, main tumko 1000 rupees de doonga.
Man Driving the Jet Ski: You got it!
Shabd then turns around and waves to Sonia while she is standing on the dock waving back.
Next, we see our handsome man shift positions to what seems like a veterinarian's office. We see a new man on the table Shabd is examining him while the man's five children are watching and laughing.
Man: AY! Dekh ke, main ek mard hoon, ek kutta nahin!
Shabd: Main bhi to ek vet hoon, ek doctor nahin. Ab stop moving warna main tujhe treat nahin doonga.
Man: OW!
Shabd: Main jaanta hoon, main jaanta hoon. Dekhlo bachon, ye hi hota hai agar tum sharks se khelo.
Man: AAH! To kya. Sharks to kutte ki tara hote hai. Wo tumko bite karta hai agar tum usko tang karo ho. Hey, yeh to mere documentary ke naam ban paata hai. Sharks: They Only Bite if You Annoy Them.
Shabd: How about, Sharks: They Tried to Eat My Kidney
All the kids laugh.
Man: Theek hai, bahut ho gaya.
Shabd: Theek hai, ab tumhe yeh pehenna hoga char bar do hafta ke liye.
Shabd hands the man a tube of ointment. Just as he goes to take his gloves off and throw them in the trash, the man starts talking again.
Man: Hey Shabd, wo ladki kaisa laga? Wo jo Banagalore se ayi thi?
Shabd: Wo? Wo tho bahut achi thi, main to aaj hi usko airport mein drop karwaya.
Man: You crack me up, man.
Shabd: Yeah?
Man: Yeah, dekh abhi abhi wo din ayega jab tu ek tourist ko itna acha time dikhayega ki wo Goa mein shift karega tere liye.
Shabd: Tu kyun mera mood kharab karta hai Veer?
Veer: Ho bi sakta hai. Tab tere Mediterranean cruise mein bhi nahin hoga. Tu yahin bathega, roz ussi badsoorath budhi ke saat din batayega. Ek dum Veer ke tara.
There is complete silence in the room. Veer looks at his children who look back at him quietly.
Veer: Main to sirph mazak kar raha tha.
Kids: Badsoorati ke baar ya budhi ki baar?
Everyone starts laughing again.
Preview: After traveling to another side of Goa, Shabd sits down for breakfast. Just as he finishes giving his order, there is a reflection in his face. He searches around to see where it is coming from when his eyes land on a knife. A gorgeous young woman is looking through the menu while holding a knife upright, just enough to reflect the light on Shabd's face.
