Soni and Jeet's relation has grown a little since Veer died. When Veer was alive and married to Soni, Soni never would have helped Jeet even if he did get shot and if she did help him Jeet would try to take advantage of it. It was kind of nice to see that Soni doesn't hold a grudge against Jeet and was trying to help him by getting him water, and it is nice that Jeet isn't trying to take advantage of Soni.

i am actually happy that the creatives didn't jump on to show a romantic relationship between jeet and soni right after veer's death....post-veer, in most of the scenes, it was jeet who seemed to be attracted towards soni which makes sense, however, soni was indifferent to his feelings all this while....which again seems correct to me because although she loved jeet once upon a time but after her marriage to veer she was a totally devoted wife (and i loved their chemistry 😊).....now many days have passed and i think soni taking care of jeet (as he is shot) will give a chance for her to get close to jeet and makes a good believable reason to rekindle their love...
