Dear Administrators & Viewers:
I'm writing regarding a VERY Disturbing and Disrespectful act to the Religion of SIkhism in the t.v. serial Maayka.
The issue is about Veer's (who's died) picture hung next to our First Guru Nanak Devji on the wall. By our maryada (rules) we are NOT to place ANY human person's next to our Guru's as they are considered and given a higher level of respect by the Sikhs. We are Not Allowed to do that and place people's pictures next to our Guru's and it's a Very Big Disrespect!!
The picture of veer is next to our Guru Nanak and even the frame is placed little higher. Perhaps the creators, directors etc...of the show did not know or realize that and i can understand that. However, I'm very appolled and hurt to see that and the scene has repeated Many Many times lately! We all can make mistakes as we are human, but *IT Should Be Acknowledged and Corrected Right Away!* A few of my friends at the hospital noted it and are Very Upset over this.
Kindly, take an action for this to notify Maayka serial people please!!! I even feel a public apology should be made for this Disrespectful Act...unintentional but it is personal when comes to a matter of our Guru's Disrespect and of our Religion....we all should know future wise also so such things do not take place in ignorance!

Also, if anyone knows of the correct contacts to these people then please let them know and tell me their contact as well....I really wish to display this concern as well to them!
