You know her arrogance and pride are so typical of "nouveau rich" people. While Rajbeer was fake in some parts, a few things that I noted:
- Rajbeer's MIL kept her cool. You could tell she wanted to say things and was angered by the ill treatment to her son, husband, and grand-daughter. Quite frankly, Sapna would have been kicked out of the house by any person by now.
- Telling Rajbeer's niece that by not going to the parlor, she'll be "as she is" forever--just shows how she doesn't understand the real world. That teens confidence in the way she is, was nice to see, because Sapna tried to bring down her self esteem, but couldn't.
- Mr. Goldie did not phsically do anything her, but she Sapna was ready to start a physical altercation.
- Rajbeer and Goldie didn't let Sapna's attitude ruin their day at the end and have confidence in themselves and their family.
Sapna told her that she is a loser if she stops working, because no one will love her. The truth is that Sapna doesn't realize that in five years, there will be a younger model who will be willing to take over her role and no one will ask for Sapna--not even her son one day, because it will all about him in his life. She will likely live out a very lonely existence and one day, it will be such that no one will even come to their funerals--of if they do, they are just coming to check if the B**** is really dead.
I think Sapna should watch the movie "Fashion"--she'll quickly realize her world will fall apart faster than anyone else's.
