I liked the first two episodes of Maa Exchange. It is an interesting concept, and its always interesting to see how celebrities live in their own homes. Of late all the episodes have been very biased. The middle class family is always shown to be more flawed than the richer or more famous one. The voiceovers are extremely biased and I hate listening to them. Most of all, I HATE that the channel uses kids to increase TRPs. The young kid Dhruv was crying a lot probably because he was missing his mom. He is only 3 years old - I was cranky at that age. Young kids tend to hit their older siblings and vice versa, and parents usually side with the younger one because the kid is younger. I have seen it in my house and my cousins'. That doesn't mean that our parents did not love us.
Every week kids are shown to be naughty or cranky - guess what, kids are like that, especially very young kids. I absolutely HATE it when shows do that, because the kids have to go through a lot of teasing and judgement after the shows come on TV. It is complete exploitation. Don't even get me started on the extremely biased voiceovers, which keep saying "Ms X is sacrificing and loving while Ms Y is doing the opposite" regardless of the actual situation.
I find it disgusting how shows manipulate kids and families so much. If Maa Exchange continues with this trend, I am out.
