The girl Kalpana is very good in her presentation of the song.She sings well and is very confident and uses the stage to the utmost.I am sure she will be the top contender among the girls.

Kalpana and malini both are good. Wonder who will be left standing at the end?

Both are lovable and great at singing and attitude. Hope they choose songs with a wider appeal so that more people can listen and vote.

Kalpana has not been upto the mark earlier but this weekend she too was very good!!
And wud love to hear something different from Lakhwinder! I think he has been singing stereotypical punjabi folk songs so far!

I agree Malini is very good.Is she related to the lady 'Awasthi'in idea dhoom macha de.She was singing all lok sangeet gana.Can u recollect.

Amukta, I remember Awasthi female singer in IDMD show. She sang mostly folk songs and she was bit elderly. Dunno if they are related or not.

Yes that elderly lady.Quite a bit of coincidence..as both have Awasthi as last names and both sing folk song.i think her name was Kalpana Awasthi.😕

malini awasthi is a well proclaimed singer in bhojpuri industry ws quite surprized to see her amongst the amatures here but shes dun an excellent job even kalpana is cool she has tremendous throw in her voice.

I am not sure cos i did not follow IDMD ... but r u referring to Sapna Awasthi who is also another folk singer and sounds like Ila Arun 😳 ... she has sung 'chaiyya chaiyya' and 'pardesi pardesi jana nahi' from raja hindustani ... was she in IDMD?

I have not watched too many episodes of Junoon(just watched the last 2 episodes)...In those,I thought both are good and have a different and distinct style.......Malini seems to choose slightly more difficlt songs,but I personally think she needs to bring in more finesse in her murkiyan...She slides a li'l thru some of them....
This is just my personal opinion....secondly there is a lot ofnoise in the background since i watch these programmes on youtube...so the noise makes it difficlt for me to gauge things exactly... 😆 😆 😆
