Well, he's given a script to guide him. That's how he knows who's performing next and what they're going to do, but he adds his own things too. That's why Ranjeet commented that it's hard to tell what going on in Manish's mind 😆

It's a screen where the dialogues are posted. There was nothing written on it I guess before a commercial break, so Manish turned it into a joke. It's soo clever! If that happened to me, I'd probably just be like, "😕" 🤣
