My heart went out to him too. He was so into it. I don't know why he was sad throughout though (before the performance even). It seemed like he was hurt through Prince's comments maybe because he thinks very highly of everyone. :( He was limping, but he didn't tell anyone or didn't complain. He was off stage, but even came back to only hug rutu-vaishu on their perfect score after all their HIS dhinchakers! ;)

yes i noticed that too. when rutu-vaishu were performing i noticed that D sir wasnt on the couch but later he was there when the Jalwa team came to hug and congratulate them. that was so sweet of him. and after the comments from the three masters were over and they went back to their couch, punit was going to hug rutu but rutu didnt see and went straight to D sir to hug him. awww. thats the power of Dinchak. Man i only wish jeetu was in DKS too. he was my fav contestant in lil masters and i love him to death. but then again i dont want rutu to not be there. jeez why couldnt they have 3 lil masters in each team. jeetu- vaishu- rutu are the bomb. together these three are the greatest trio in DID history (according to me atleast)

let me share with all my fellow D Sir fans how i become one myself.
Unlike most of you my story is a bit different. I didnt become his fan through DID season 2. Actually i had never watched DID season one or two and in fact didnt even know about the show. i was living abroad at the time these two seasons were aired on tv. one day while just flipping through the channels i came across an episode of lil masters and ended up watching it. i was just stunned by the sheer professionalism and caliber of these little children. ive watched shows like boogie woogie before but those shows were nothing compared to LM. in LM the kids werent just dancing, instead they were treating dance like a real form of art as a complete profession (something which was lacking in India before DID). and amidst the professionalism in their dancing you could still see their innocence. from then on every week i started following LM and became a enormous fan of Jeetumoni and Dharmesh Sir. D sir was so humble and his Dinchakers loved and adored him not just as their skipper but as an older brother. my dear jeetu was always touching his feet at every chance he got. thats how much they looked up to him. Soon I found myself rooting for anything related to D sir and Jeetu which made me become fans of Vaishu and Rutu ( well i didnt get to watch kathy for long so didnt really get to know her). every week i would pray that a dinchaker wouldnt get eliminated. and rightly so there were two dinchakers in the grand finale where one of them (Jeetu) won the show. (even though i strongly believe rutu should have been in the finale too. well i guess it wont be fair for the others to have 3 contestants from the same team in the finale)
at that time i wasnt aware of his capabilities as a dancer (even though he did dance a few times in LM) but i did find out that he was one hell of a coreographer. his forte may be hip hop but his team did the most number of different dance forms compared to other teams in LM for which he got many praises and compliments from the masters as well. he dared to take the risk and it paid off.
after LM was over they started showing retelecast of season 2 which i watched specifically for D sir, rooting for him for the very beginning even though i already knew the final result of show.
by then i had already become a huge DID fan and so after i watched season 2 i watched season 1 on the computer. soon DID doubles started and i watched that as well. finally here we are with Dance ke superstars.
So basically my entire DID journey began with D sir and his dinchakers so thank you D sir and thank you jeetu, rutu, vaishu, and kathy.

OMG! You said EXACTLY What I feel. JEETU WAS MY FAVOURITE, but I WOULD NEVER WANT RUTU TO NOT BE THERE! :( Tough choice eh? LOL. I was thinking Rutu Jeetu should have been there, but I think it's unfair to take away the chance from Vaishu because she's THAT amazing. Ahhh it's so tough to choose between favourites! :(

I loved that too. Rutu went and hugged Dsir cuz Dsir called him there because I don't think he wanted to get up as his leg was hurting. I found that SO CUTE. You know when Shiamak sir announced the "10", Rutu screamed "AAAIIICH". Hahaha way to go. I love the Dhinchaaak bonding. I think Dsir always loved Rutu from the beginning and was especially sad when he got out. He even ran and gave the trophy to Rutu after the LM finale and Rutu gave him his cap. It was so adorable!!!:)

At bolded, I agree. You know they've ALL become humble because of Dsir? Lol. Okay, Jeetu was always humble, but the touching the feet part is what they learned from Dsir. He ALWAYS does that. Rutu and Vaishu wouldn't really bend down and thank the judges for their praises or touch Dsir's feet initially, and of course Dsir didn't tell them to touch his feet, but the way he respects his elders and guru, they garnered that habit from him. I think that's very sweet. Jeetu is the most humble of the lot. He apparently even touched the spotman's feet before his performance. 😃
BTW, who's KATHY? :P

yes, i meant kyati, sorry didnt know how to spell her name. i've never seen it spelt this way so i just typed kathy since kathy is a more common spelling.

Love D sir so much because of that humbleness that he portrays. Also, to those who were saying that he looked kind of sad throughout the show (4/22), lol I don't think he was sad, that's just D sir's normal expression...only time he really gets excited is when Rutu n Vaishu performs =0
