let me share with all my fellow D Sir fans how i become one myself.
Unlike most of you my story is a bit different. I didnt become his fan through DID season 2. Actually i had never watched DID season one or two and in fact didnt even know about the show. i was living abroad at the time these two seasons were aired on tv. one day while just flipping through the channels i came across an episode of lil masters and ended up watching it. i was just stunned by the sheer professionalism and caliber of these little children. ive watched shows like boogie woogie before but those shows were nothing compared to LM. in LM the kids werent just dancing, instead they were treating dance like a real form of art as a complete profession (something which was lacking in India before DID). and amidst the professionalism in their dancing you could still see their innocence. from then on every week i started following LM and became a enormous fan of Jeetumoni and Dharmesh Sir. D sir was so humble and his Dinchakers loved and adored him not just as their skipper but as an older brother. my dear jeetu was always touching his feet at every chance he got. thats how much they looked up to him. Soon I found myself rooting for anything related to D sir and Jeetu which made me become fans of Vaishu and Rutu ( well i didnt get to watch kathy for long so didnt really get to know her). every week i would pray that a dinchaker wouldnt get eliminated. and rightly so there were two dinchakers in the grand finale where one of them (Jeetu) won the show. (even though i strongly believe rutu should have been in the finale too. well i guess it wont be fair for the others to have 3 contestants from the same team in the finale)
at that time i wasnt aware of his capabilities as a dancer (even though he did dance a few times in LM) but i did find out that he was one hell of a coreographer. his forte may be hip hop but his team did the most number of different dance forms compared to other teams in LM for which he got many praises and compliments from the masters as well. he dared to take the risk and it paid off.
after LM was over they started showing retelecast of season 2 which i watched specifically for D sir, rooting for him for the very beginning even though i already knew the final result of show.
by then i had already become a huge DID fan and so after i watched season 2 i watched season 1 on the computer. soon DID doubles started and i watched that as well. finally here we are with Dance ke superstars.
So basically my entire DID journey began with D sir and his dinchakers so thank you D sir and thank you jeetu, rutu, vaishu, and kathy.
