Splendid writing Maha ⭐️...love how you brought in all those lovely dialogues PriDa shared..

I like this idea of them not completely letting go...and circumstances such that they are meant to cross paths again..

Looking forward to reading the next parts.

wonderful lyrics as well...very apt for the situations..

With respect to your excellent fondness towards me 😆, I should let you know that I too have grown to be very fond of you after receiving such an amazingly scripted story for a birthday present. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Angst it truly your forte - and it was never as beautiful before...

Damini's breakdown on the night of the truth is very evocative... And it's words like these that make it so painstakingly beautiful:

She couldn't stand up at all. Not when she was alone. Not when he wasn't beside her. The thought probed it's away into the deep recesses of her mind slowly lighting up a fire in its wake. It was cold in nature and perhaps that was why it did not stand out against the darkness that consumed her just then but merely blended with it.

You've wonderfully presented Damini's deliberations hereafter... Those little streaks of reminiscence, the apprehensions within, and the faint yet firm voice inside her head: "Agar aap chaahe tou sab kuch theek ho sakta hain." Thumbs up for the superb portrayal of Damini's innermost feelings. 👍🏼

As for Prithvi... it happens so often in life that we get to know what we have only after we lose it, no? Could thoroughly empathize with the the pangs of guilt he experiences... And this bit here is just so poignant:

He could still remember the look in them when he had revealed the truth about himself to her. Seen his betrayal become a part of her as the light in them dimmed and ironically it was in that one single moment that he had realized that he really was truly and irrevocably in love with Damini Gujral.

Like the whole confrontation between the two at the Gujral Mansion... The stifled undercurrent between them cannot be missed at any point! And I just adore this exchange:

"I would never take out the worst of my anger and hatred on Maa."
"I know you wouldn't.. You are not.. You are not like me."

This, when coupled with "She had seen herself in him. They really were uncannily alike.", is suggestive of something that can barely be described in words.

I really like Ela Gujral's role in this story. Was never in doubt of her wisdom, which you've deployed quite effectively here.

The last scenes at the hospital and whole "How are you" exchange between PriDa was a pleasant read. I can sense the reconciliation on the horizon, but first the "scared part" of Damini has to be dealt with... Have a feeling that some strong sequences are coming up in the next installment. Really looking forward to that.

This definitely cracked me up. How can you go on about lost love when I just posted a part that is 19 pages long on Word? *offended* :P

And you don't even want to know the full length of the SS. :| (God, Rambling is like a disease.)

@Feedback: Yes does seem like you put some serious effort in it. Good for you. You would have been dead anyway if you hadn't posted anything decent. :P
