Reasons I love Prithvi Saxena

1) He was a real man as in he had flaws - he was not some ideal husband you would find only in movies and on TV. He made mistakes and he was an idiot and got called on it (his "dhakkan" phase though not one of my fondest memories of him, is a case in point, want another one how about the whole aloo paratha fiasco ).

Yes, we werent blind to his faults.. we were never afraid to call him out on those .. didnt mean that we loved him less 😉


2) He was a stand up guy who made sure that no harm came to him and the people who mattered to him. Woe betide anybody who tried to harm anyone he cared about. 😛

Pri Saxena defo was a guy, every1 wouldnt mind having in their life, unlike ..... 😛

3) The guy could make not a plan and all his plans went nowhere or backfired spectacularly 🤣 🤣 - this made him all the more endearing. Want proof check this out

Somehow this made him more human. 😃

4) The guy could not ask a girl out for nuts 🤣 🤣 ... watch him mumble and put his foot in his mouth before the first PriDa dance when he compliments Damini (and unwittingly takes it back ) by telling her she looks good in Indian clothes when she is wearing a western outfit and frantically back-pedalling to make up for it. It is one of the best scenes ever. 🤣 🤣

He has to be frequently aided by his more "experienced" younger brother, Sameer, in trying to make an impression on Damini whom he was trying to date and even later when she became his wife. It is only later after Ila's death that he started taking matters into his own hands. 😉 😉 and how ☺️ - the candle light scene and the moonlight scene are some of the best PriDa scenes ever. 😳

True.. very true..

5) Last but not the least none can match the brooding intensity that GK brought to the role of Prithvi. He has said he was unsure he could pull it off and had to be convinced that he could pull it off. And he pulled it off with such style that I cannot imagine any other actor in that role. ⭐️

Gaurav Khanna was Prithvi Saxena .. no doubts about it.. He played a role that in lesser hands would have become a mess .. he brought his own unique brand to the character and made it his own ..👏

Prithvi rarely smiled but when he did it was like the sun came out from behind the clouds 😃

Finally I have the agree with Mru and Khushi that I will take the "brooding handsome hunk" over the "wimpy waffling good-looking crybaby" or "the smiling knock-a-girl-off-her-feet charmer" any day, provided the brooding hunk smiles once in a while for me 😉 .

When he crossed his arms and looked down that "Grecian"' nose of his, Ooh !!so Arrogantly !!, at Damzie !! , not bothered by her angry rantings , and being Oh !! soo!! Cool !! , he looked so Super Hawtt !! that our hearts just melted !!.............

And what do i say about that Aahttitude !!.........aarghh!!........it just Killed us!!.......everytime HE gave back to Damzie by way of those Sarcyy !! dialogues and Oh !! that Snarky !! Smile !! ,we went weak in the knees !!................😳😳

And Prithvi as the Silent !! Intense!! Lover!!❤️❤️.............When he looked at Damzie with that Soft !! Lovelorn !! look in his eyes!!, as if Simply !! Bewitched !! by her Beauty !!............ ( Thinking of PRIDA in the Rain !! in Black !!........Sigh!!...........)😍😍.......... our Heartbeats !! would go Soaring !!..............When he Touched !! her hair !! Wonderingly !! and Caressed !! her face ,Oh !! soo!! Tenderly !! ( Thinking of that FIRST HUG !!..........Sigh !! )........... there were butterflies in our insides !!..............😍😍.

And when HE Wrapped those Strong arms around her !!........... HE was soo!! Tender !! and Caring !!............ ( but at the same time , ready to protect her from the whole world !! ,) that Everything looked Oh!! So!! Beautiful!!.......... and there was Music in the air !!..........and all of us just went to Prida Heaven !!...........😍😍

Well , one could go on and on !! remembering all those Beautiful !! Magical !! moments !!......... but all i can say is that.............

Kudos!! to GK !! for playing the part of our Pri with such Perfection !! and Breathing such Life!! into his potrayal !! that all of us are yet to recover from the Prida Trance !!.............👏👏👏

GK played the role of the Strong !! Silent !! Pri with so much Style !!, Elan !!, and Oh!! so Hawtt !! Attitude !!...........with just a Quirk of the eyebrow !! and that Steely !! Glare !! of his eyes!! ,.........he conveyed all his feelings and emotions !!...........and that Lethal !! Smile !! and that Devastating !! pout !! of his, which he used with such Deadly !! Effect !!.............where was the need for words ?.........Infact words would have been superflouous and diminished the Impact !! of that Super Sexacyy !! Attitude!!........ and Boy !! don't we Love Men with Attitude !! eh!! .............😉😉

yup.. me always love MEN with attitude .. and Prithvi was the best in business

We are fortunate that we got to see Prithvi Saxena being played to such perfection by GK but i think that GK should also consider himself to be Fortunate !! that he got such a Wonderful character to play...............Prithvi , the Man with the ' Heart of Gold'!! ; the Silent !! , Intense !! Lover ; the Fiercely !! Loving !! and Committed !! Husband !! ; the Complete Family Man !! ; the Dutiful!! Elder Son ; the Loving !! Elder Brother !! ............Oh !! this was Definitely !! the Role of a Lifetime !!..............and Prithvi Saxena will always have a very Special !! place in our Hearts!!.........

Yes.. havent come across a character like Prithvi Saxena yet for sure..
