Chapter 2
When Rahul wouldn't return the book to Avni, she gets up frustrated and very irritated. She points a finger at Rahul and says....
"You... meri book wapas karte ho ki.." Avni says trying to threaten him.
"Ki kya?" he asks teasingly.
Sameer started wondering as to what was taking Rahul so long with the newly-interested girl. Usually it wouldn't take more than 2-3 minutes for them to capture a girl with their charms. Sameer turned to look at what Rahul was doing, and he saw Rahul with a book in his hand, wearing a smirk on his face. The newly-interested girl was pointing a finger at Rahul and was thinking of something. Thinking of what, Sameer thought. He looked at her face being drawn into confusion. He saw her crunch up her nose and her eyes go lost in thought. Wanting to see this new wonder of the world, Sameer got up from his chair and slowly made his way towards Rahul and Avni.
As he comes closer and closer his ears start to hear some words being formed. Those words coming out of Avni's mouth seemed as if they were lyrics written to a beautiful music written especially for him.
"Are you giving me my book or not?" Avni asks for the tenth time to Rahul.
"First talk to me beautiful." Rahul replies teasingly.
Rahul approaches his hand to touch Avni's cheek. *SLAP* Instead of touching Avni's cheek, Rahul ends up touching his own. He could feel the heat rising in his left cheek as that was where Avni had left a mark to respond to his misbehavior. Both Sameer and Rahul are shocked as no one had ever dared to even speak in a high voice let alone slap them before.
Sameer starts feeling heat rising in his body as well. But not heat of embarrassment, but heat of anger.
"Tumne Rahul ko thappad mara" he asks Avni.
"Poochre ho ya bathre ho. Of course meine isse thappad mara. Agar tum iss ghaatiya insaan ka saath do ge toh tumhe bhi paade ga." she warns Sameer.
"Say sorry." Sameer states, ignoring her previous comment.
"Why? He's the one who troubled me." she retorts.
"Say sorry." Sameer repeats, ignoring what she said.
" I'm sorry.... but I won't."
Avni turns to walk away, but is stopped Sameer as he is holding onto her wrist. Avni starts feeling hot inside, and she can hear her heart pounding. As to why she doesn't know. Is it a good feeling or not, she doesn't know that either. But she does know that, whatever he is doing is wrong.
Not knowing, what she'll be doing next, Avni turns around and feels the flesh of her hand get contact with Sameer's cheek and hears a loud smacking sound. People that were walking by, stop to see this sight and are astonished, along with Avni and Sameer, since this is the second person she's slapped today. Sameer looks up at her angrily making Avni feel alot smaller and alot more scared than she is.

Sameer leaves Avni's hand and she leaves, while everyone else is shocked.
Sameer gets furious and tells Rahul, "Main isse sabak sikha kar rahoonga"
Rahul : Magar kaise?
Something evil was going on inside of Sameer's head.
Sameer asks rahul: Um,prom night kab hai?
Rahul: Exactly yaad nahi hai magar abhi 3 hafte hain baaki.
Sameer: Just wait and watch. This girl is gonna repent for what she did.
Rahul: Lekin Sameer...
Sameer: Dekh Rahul, jitni baizati isne aaj hamari ki hai na, utni aaj tak kisi ne nahi ki. Main isse nahi chodonga. Aur tum mujhe rokne ki koshish bhi mat karna.
Rahul: Lekin tum karoge kya?
Sameer: Pata nahi, magar prom night pe, main usse bataonga ki usne kisse panga liya hai.
Sameer leaves furiously leaving everyone astonished.

At chemistry class
Avni's a little nervous as this is her first day and well, she has already slapped 2 guys, and people are giving her "looks".
Avni finds herself a seat near the window. A girl [Akansha] comes and starts talking to Avni.
Akansha: Hi, I'm Akansha, what's your name?
Avni: Hi, I'm Avni.
Akansha: Oh my God! So are you the new girl everyone's talking about?
Avni: Sorry, I don't get you....
Akansha: The girl who slapped Sameer & Rahul??
Avni remembering the horrible incident, replies bitterly: Unfortunately, yes.
Akansha: Woah, didn't expect that. Well anyways, we're cool.
Avni: Thanks.
Akansha: If you need any help in college, ask me.
Avni: Sure.
It was time for class now...

After class at the canteen.
Akansha: So, are you free tonight?
Avni: Yes, why?
Akansha: No actually my friends and I were planning to go to a pub, so would you like to come along?
Avni looks up to Akansha, shocked.
Avni: A pub??
Akansha: Yeah, like we'll have a party? Why is that so shocking?
Avni: Nah,actually, I don't go to pubs and all. Thanks for inviting, though.
Akansha: Hey Avni why don't we get something to eat? You can join my group.
Avni: Okay
Akansha buys 3 cokes and 2 sandwiches from the canteen, and she gives Avni 2 cokes to take to their table.
Avni has a glass in both of her hands now ,trying to balance them. She turns around to approach the table when she bumps into Sameer and spills the coke on his shirt.
Avni looks at the shirt of this guy and says "Oh my God! I am so sorry!"
She looks up to this guy's face and is shocked to see that this is none other than Sameer! The very guy who Avni had slapped this morning. Sameer looks at his shirt (he still hasn't seen Avni)
Sameer: Why you....
He looks up at her and is shocked that this is Avni. Suddenly something strikes his mind...Oh yes,his plan.
Sameer thinks 'Sameer yeh sahi mauka hai, isse milne ke liye bol, taaki tu isse impress kar paye"
Sameer: Tumne meri shirt kharab kar di (in a frustuated tone)
Avni: I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to.
Sameer: Aaawww man! Now what am I going to do?
Avni: I'm sorry
Sameer: Ah its okay, I'll ask my friend for some back-up shirt.
Avni: You forgive me, right?
Sameer: No!!
Avni's confused and says: What can i do for you?
Sameer: Coffee at ccd at 8 pm tonight.
Avni: What?
Sameer: I'll be waiting.
Sameer starts to walk away.
Avni had a strange convincing feeling,but why?She couldn't forget what this guy had done to her......But something,something strange made her feel she should go.....
Avni thinks for a minute & says in a loud voice: I'll come
Sameer turns around to look at avni and says 'Thanks' & walks away.
