There will be a moment


There will be a moment when he doesn't hide things from me,
A moment when he answers every question of mine,
A moment when he doesn't avoid meeting my eye,
A moment when he is the one to wish to initiate a dance badly, without me even hinting at that,
A moment when he wants our dance to go on forever,
A moment when he doesn't leave me abruptly,
A moment where he accepts that we are equals,
A moment where he appreciates that very fact, cherishes it,
A moment when he doesn't get restless in my company,
A moment when he doesn't cover his jealousy with lame excuses,
A moment when he doesn't destroy a beautiful evening,
A moment when I can tell him he looks mad hot when he's angry,
A moment when he doesn't behave like an idiot when he is with me,
A moment when he enjoys my company as much as I do his,

A moment when he tells me every story that he has lived, every smile that he has smiled, and everything that he has witnessed,

A moment when I completely own his soul, his heart, and his mind..

There will be a moment like this, someday, some place.

I know maybe it's not the time in their equation when Damz is so in deep that she thinks all of these things. But I think she might have thought at least some of these things when Prithvi got mad for no apparent reason at all and left her there abruptly after a beautiful evening..And we'll never know for sure. Because these shows mostly keep the feelings of their female protagonists secret until breaking point arrives and they have no choice. We know Damz is so serious with her crush on Pri that she inquired about his marital status, and Damz is kinda passionate and intense. So, who knows, maybe she thought all these things. 😛😆

And anyways, this was just written for fun, not in a serious mood at all, and I was having a secret laugh writing this..Had nothing better to do, so this popped up..😛 And the bolded part was purely mine, 😆 though Damz might have thought that too. .😉

OH I like the firecracker thing Sarah....I see u call her that too...LOL we think alike. And the moments were described to perfection..........I think u should do one for prithvi too....I bet he has a lot of the similar moments on HIS wish list.....

That was a delicious read Sarah! ... love your poetic approach to writing, it makes things so much more beautiful. (I am telling you, Pridaholism is making us do all sorts of things!) I just hope that someday Damini would actually feel all of those feelings! ... That angst, that want.. oh, I would like to see what it does to our feisty Damini!

@Shwetha, just read your additions, and absolutely loved them! .. my favorite was "when he realizes that we complete each other" ... how romantic!
