Why the Main Focus on Simple Girl only?

Hey guys iwas just thinking today when ever they start a new serial on any channel and if there is a simple girl there (as main lead) but other girls are also there as a lead but everytime the main focus on Simple girls like avni is in love ne miladi jodi and Gunjan in Miley jab hum tum.. ridz in Dmg... etc... and like we all know Avni wil be very famous as its so obvious lol so wht do u think why is like that?... do share ur thoughts!

i think its cause ekta has brainwashed us all into thinking "simple girl=good girl, bad boy=HAS to be made better by the girl"..

ive noticed that too, maybe its because some grls are like that and they can relate to them.

nice topic, i read all the answers to this and in the mjht forum and i agree with what most ppl said. I think that the simple girl or hte girl next door in even english tv/films is alwasy very common. we all are the girl next door or know someone who is. they are easy to relate and everyones always cheering for them. I do agree with the person that said lets keep ekta heronies out of this. they are jsut too much. but still mjht dmg and lnmdj are fanstastic because they show different girls too that we all can relate to. we all have a lil bit of dhamni, avni, roshni, angie, ridz, muskaan, nikita, nupur, dia gunjan even sheena. im sure in ourlife we know at least one person that is liek each character.

as for simple girl/ bad boy i dont think its alwasy a bad boy, i just think that opposties attract is always great for trps. plus they learn so much from each other and this makes great stories
