1. Culture: The fact that India is multicultural has to be experienced to understand the real situation in India. Unless a person visits India, one may not be able to really savor the cultural differences. There are many states in India. Each of these states has different kind of people living in them. Most of these states have their own languages. The last official nationwide survey in India in 2001 on religious beliefs identified that only 2.3 percent, or 24 million people, identify as Christians. The Mission Society claims that, that number has risen dramatically in the past decade, however. Dick McClain, president and CEO of The Mission Society, publisher of Unfinished said India is now the largest Christian nation in the world having more than 71 million claiming Christianity.

1. Dress and dance forms: The people of each state have their own traditional dress. They have their own dance forms. It feels like countries within a country. In spite of all these variations, the country is peaceful. The Indian state calls this national integration where the many cultures are integrated into one single culture which is the Indian culture.

1. Tourist spots: India has hundreds of tourist spots. These include hill stations, reserve forests, pristine beaches, beautiful temples among many other places of interest where there is a heavy rush of tourists. The spots that can be visited by tourists are spread all over the length and breadth of India. The famous rhinoceros of the Kaziranga Natural park is found in the state of Assam in North East India. One of the world's best beaches is present in the state of Goa which is on the Western coast of India. This place is visited by thousands of international tourists each year. Goa is truly an international destination with the mix of traditional culture and those of the Portuguese invaders who first landed there making the place unique.

1. Languages: The languages of India are ancient. There are different languages for most of the different states, though Hindi is spoken in many states. In fact within each state, there are wide variations in the accents and dialects of the same language.

1. Largest democracy: Another interesting facts about India is its position as the world's largest democracy in terms of the number of people. The millions of people living in this country are all free to choose their political leader by an electoral process which in itself is a great exercise. Conducting free and fair elections in this vast country is a challenging job that has been well done for many years now.

1. Taj Mahal: The history of Taj Mahal and the reason it was built is one of the most interesting part of India and Indian history. The Taj Mahal was built as a sign of enduring love for his wife Mumtaz by the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The monument is built out of pure marble making it one of the most breathtakingly beautiful tourist spots of India.

1. Invasion: An interesting facts about India is that the country has never invaded another country. Though India has been invaded by many rulers of various kingdoms, the people of India have never invaded another country.

1. Mathematics: India has been one of the pioneers in mathematics. The country has been instrumental in inventing the number system. Algebra, trigonometry and calculus originated in India. The value of pi' was also calculated first by an Indian.

1. Freedom: India is one of the very few countries in the world that have obtained freedom by non violent means. The Indian freedom struggle was spearheaded by Mahatma Gandhi till India got freedom in 1947.

1. Economy: The Indian economy cannot be left out in the list of interesting facts about Indian. In fact, it has been growing in leaps and bounds. The pace at which India has been developing has made the developed nations sit up and take note of it. India is seen as one of the nations that have the potential to have strong economic growth.

1. IT exporter: Information Technology is a standpoint among facts about India. India has grown by leaps and bounds to become one of the leading exporters of software and related products. India exports software to more than 90 countries in the world.

1. Secularism: In spite of various internal problems that crop from time to time, India has maintained the secularism that has made people of different religions co exist peacefully for hundreds of years.

1. Population: India has the second largest population in the world, though anthropologists predict that in a few more years India will have the largest population in the world.

1. Medical science: India was a country where surgery was done even in ancient days. Sushruta is considered as the father of surgery. He conducted many complicated surgeries around 2600 years ago.

1. Film industry: Entertainment and particularly, the Film Industry known as Bollywood is among the noted facts about India. It is the only country in the world that has films made in many different languages. Each state that has a unique language in India has its own film industry and films are made in those languages. The film industry in India is the largest in the world.

1. Sports: The national sport of India is hockey. The game that evokes more passion in the people of India is cricket. There are also more people playing cricket in India than those playing hockey, though hockey is the national game.

1. Yoga: Yoga that is being practiced by many people around the world originated in India around 5000 years back. It helps the mind to get more control over the body. It also helps to prevent diseases and keeps a person healthy.

1. Largest Employer: The Indian railways that has one of the largest railway networks in the world, is the largest employer in the world. There are more employees working for the Indian railways than any other organization in the world.

1. Architecture: India has many historically significant buildings that stand as testimony to the diverse architecture that was present in India from ancient times. Indian architecture is unique because it includes traditional architectural style along with the Mughal style and that of the other invaders of the country.

1. Lifestyle: India as a country has adopted many modern methods of lifestyle, but at the same time the traditional values are blended in the culture making the country a unique place where one can taste modern as well as traditional lifestyle.

You mean eternal beauty as in using lots of botox to stay eternal young? She might be a timeless beauty as time goes bad upon her first glance and time freezes upon her leg licking shot. 😆😆
