Don't understand Rummy

I simply dont get Rummy i mean he flirts, he falls in love, he breaks rules to protect his friends, to get out of problems he minipulates the situation to his benefit...He has the making of being a very good soldier but have no idea why he does he waste his time in meaningless pursuits. That time when he got injured on the head i felt that was the real him hiding all the pain of a troubled childhood behind his playfull nature. When he fell for Purvi i thought he was really serious about her and now he is after Sameera i have no idea what he really wants. So far from what i have seen i think he is a good guy who has had a troubled childhood and he hasn't spoken to anyone about it...Somehow i think he refuses to let anyone see the real him or get to know him really Purvi i think to some extent saw that side of him and now he sort of feels Vulnerable around her and has chosen to avoid her.

What do you guys think???

I think he just wants to hide the real him and you're right Purvi might be really close to knowing the real him. I think just because of his troubled childhood, he's become a confused guy

Didn't you all watch previous videos when Purvi leaves Rummy behind in the jungle and he really hated purvi for that and he said that i finally knew you realy personality. Later, purvi and rummy says to each other that we'll have a fresh start, forget all the things that happened betweem them. So now he is flirting with sameera.He is falling for sameera. forget that purvi.now when purvi sees them together, she gets jealous..before she used to ignore Rummy..

I don't think Rummy is in love with either purvi or sameera, they are just time pass for him. Actually, I think somewhere Purvi did touch his heart but when she left him behind in the jungle he didn't like that. He probably expected her to be with him. The guy doesn't really know what he wants, he is not a bad guy but just confuse
