Here Is The Update For 14th April, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Episode kick starts with all the cadets and the faculty assembled in the K M A Commando Grounds awaiting the arrival of Major General Gaur. Akrithi says that Markhand had said that punishment might be light or something similar and Markhand is happy that she remembered his words. And so the light hearted conversation continues with Peter and others expecting just a light punishment.
Sameera – Voice is changed, might be some one else spoke. – says whatever the Punishment, they accept, face and endure.
On the other side Burman as usual is uncaring mood and but not as sharp in his comments and Abhimanyu advises Burman to address him by his designation, that is as " Captain". Then Burman targets the Major and her drinking abilities. When someone reminds him of the seriousness of the situation with regards to the punishment, Burman says he knows Major General, his punishments and has undergone plenty.
At this point of time Major General arrives with all assembled in attention stance.
Major General says that he would deliver a punishment that would remain with the faculty members as well as the cadets through out their career and in future the would never ever in as mistake ever commit any more similar mistake.
Then the Major General delivers the punishment to be as the drill in Minus Mode to some point "N".
The cadets are relieved, Rummy says that his Dad might sound as a "Hitler" type of person but he is not that type.
The faculty, barring Burman, sound shocked. As they disperse, Burman is asked to stay back as he would get separate but stricter punishment.
Vidya catches up with Gunny and asks him whether he had seen the photograph of Vamsh, Gunny, in a tone bit unpleasant, says he nor Vidya had time to discuss such matters. Vidya, calmly says that she had asked a simple question, whether he had seen the photograph. Gunny, with his hands behind his back, crosses the index and the middle finger and says that they talk later. Gunny leaves.
Vidya thinks out aloud that she knows he had seen the photograph.
Major General is in his cabin and is in conversation with the Major. He is of the opinion that punishment cannot be downgraded, she argues that such type of punishment could prove death knell for the cadets as they are not commando trainees and they could be left out and only the faculty could be allowed to take the punishment, also that this type is against the rules of the Army. Major General counters that taking cadets for a night out without permission is also against rules, Major suppresses a response.
On her way out Major Vaibhavi is met by Abhimanyu and gets the bad news. And Major Vaibhavi asks him to prepare the cadets for the eventuality, Abhimanyu remarks that a course of 48 months in 48 hours.
At some point it is shown that Gunny in a tense mood with the photograph and flashbacks of the two or three terrorist type men walking up the temple steps. And then the mustached photograph.
The cadets are on their early morning run. Rummy steps out from the crowd and notices Gunny in his kick box type of solo practices inside that ring like domain prepared by him.
Rummy excuse himself and Gunny in a bad mood responds. Rummy says that Abhimanyu had conveyed about a stinking rat or some thing and that Gunny had to meet Abhimanyu.
Rummy is asked to leave, as Gunny noticed a lingering Rummy.
In the mess hall the cadet are have their drinks, and also having a light hearted conversation, with Akrithi saying something and Markhand agrees with, Peter too says that it is minus mode which might mean a simple punishment. Purvi too has her own Model like theory. It is as if they are on to a picnic.
At the end of it all Sameera comes in to say that they are expected to assemble out side for extra training.
All are surprised as they had nothing to do before the punishment drill.
Abhimanyu and Gunny are having a look at Orderly Raghu's and his Man's files and are finding few truths and untruths about those two.
Few details and events and dates do not tally or have been non events. Gunny says they have to have thorough look at those two persons antecedents and that they need space to do that, Abhimanyu says he had already done that and had sent the Orderly and his man away on a official work.
The Cadets are outside and in a heap, having their usual fun filled talk and are in anticipant of the Drill of Punishment.
Behind them arrives the faculty and over hears all these conversations.
Abhimanyu signals to Suriji, who, in turn, gets the gets the Cadets to attention.
Abhimanyu, in a stern Voice, says the cadets are in a picnic mood. And He and Gunny Proceeds to say that the drill has no medical kit, no food prepared by Suriji, do a drill / Jog I guess, double of the present run, and that they run bare foot or that they could wear hand made foot wear, food self cooked for two, and they have the half meal.
On these tough conditions they will have to complete the course.
The Cadets Appear to be shell shocked.
