Nikhil Blasts Ekta!! - An article

Nikhil Arya, the television actor of prime time show Kasturi, has blasted the czarina of small screen Ekta Kapoor for not giving due credit to actors and treating them shabbily. The actor has said in an interview to SHOWTIME that Ekta thinks herself to be a lady Murdoch and behaves whimsically by removing actors and actresses from Balaji soaps. After all without Iqbal Khan, Karam Apna Apna lost its appeal and without Rajeev Khandelwal , Kahin To Hoga too met with the similar fate and that proves that the actors have their own fan following and do not entirely depend upon the mercy of Ekta Kapoor.

As Nikhil says about not behaving in a subservient manner to Balaji supremo, ' My mama never raised a chicken, so if somebody wants me to be a puppet, its never going to happen. We are not talking about some Rupert Murdoch her. We are not even talking about the creator of a huge production house like a Reverend Aditya Chopra or Mr Yash Chopra. So getting banned by a certain faction with due respect to Ekta Kapoor should not stop me from continuing to spread my acting fragrance.'

Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor has rubbished the allegation of shabby treatment by Nikhil Arya and said that nobody was forced to work with Balaji and everybody had the option of moving out anytime.
