Says Aparna, "I met them by chance. When I told them I was an actress and worked in a show with a military background, they told me they too were soldiers." Arild Bloemendal, 23, is a first lieutenant in the army while his friend Geirsjello, 24, spent one year in the navy. Aparna says that they've even been on some peacekeeping missions. "I showed them some stills from the show and they were impressed with the detailing we've put in it. Also talking to them and sharing their stories made me realise that anyone who defends one's country must be given the highest respect."Aye, aye, ma'am! |
