We are told that before making his debut as an actor, Rajeev Khandelwal wanted to make his name in the fashion industry as a model.

Recently, we overheard the actor telling contestants of this year's Grasim Mr India contest that he too had auditioned for the competition 10 years ago, however, he was rejected due to his short height.

It seems Rajeev also tried his luck at other male pageants but had to go back home dejected, as he didn't match the height requirements. Somehow, we can't imagine him as the next John Abraham, no? Tee hee!

I think rajeev's face is beautiful, and offcourse you can't be a ramp model if you don't have height, but obviously in tv commercials height doesn't work, to sell the product you don't need a 6 feet tall guy, you need a fresh good looking face, that fits the tv screen perfectly, 😳 for hair product, deodrant, shaving cream you don't need a 6 footer 😆 you need a face that sells and Rajeev has that...
plus these ramp models, well, only the one gets to be the lead model, he starts getting advertisment, and big ramp shows, and when he starts feeling he is loosing his career on ramp modeling he starts searching for work in movies, if no luck in movies, then he ends up on tv and because of his 6 feet height, he has to play sidy character, because he doesn't match the girl 😆
