All the dialogues Huda has with Naina in V party was taught by Raj. Then it is clear that Rajveer knows how to woo women and he would have succeeded in winning Naina's heart if he tried before he came to know that "she did not love him and only treats him as mentor."
If he realised that he loves her only after undergoing confinement then he could have wooed her after he came back & Naina would have not rejected his love as she was completely dependent on him at that time.
I fear that when he confesses his love for Naina, it would be too late as Naina would have fallen for Huda (forcefully or voluntarily) by then.
When Bhargav brought Naina to his room on New year eve, then was the chance and at that stage Raj should have confessed to Naina that he loves and that misunderstanding was on his side. Main Alekh ko bhi kosthi hun ki usne Naina ko bataya ki Rajveer thinks that Naina loves him, so he is behaving strange towards her. Alekh ko abhi bhi maloom nahi kya ki kaun kis pe marta hain.
