ritu is not raj's type -that's what i guessed from the serial. raj fell in love with naina b'coz beneath her tough, courageous and loyal exterior which he always admired he saw an innocent, bubbly naive girl who had joined the army to save he beloved brother. ritu is too bold and smart for raj. naina needs guidance and protection b'coz she's a straightforward girl brought up in a secure family
naina does not know much about the dirty politics of bhargav or the academy. only raj can save her. raj's prefers naina's innocence and stubbornness and naivety and courage to ritu's smartness and boldness.and well i like rn jodi b'coz there is something more to their relnship - far beyond trust and maturity. an unspoken hidden understanding, the respect and admiration they have for each other - a special bonding from the heart - the grief and pain of having lost a brother (naina) and a best friend (raj) has brought them together. it is fate that they met and have to be together for solving naveen's mystery.
i think there will come a time when naina and raj will fight for each other or naina has to choose betn raj and her brother.
as for rr jodi right now there has not been many romantic scenes betn them so can't tell much about their chemistry. ritu is helping raj just because she loves him.
she knows raj loves naina and dislikes naina and never supports her. she wants to see raj happy but raj will be happy only if naina is happy.
Reading your post, made me realise the good points about Ritu, which I have not thought about.
The first being that there being no romantic scenes between Raj and Ritu. Thats so very true and yet they look so good together and compliment each other very well. They share an amazing chemistry without sharing a romantic scene. Just imagine if they really had one !!
Are you trying to say that just because a woman is smart, bold and independent, she doesn't deserve a nice guy like Raj. Is Raj is more worthy for someone like Naina, who needs to be protected all the time and cannot move ahead in her mission or life without the support of people ? She is yet a naive kid. Ritu and Naina will obviously have difference in their behaviour because of the difference in years and experience between the two of them. The guidance that Naina is looking out for is such that any student looks out for in a teacher.
The beautiful part of Ritu and Raj relationship is that they are open about their feelings for each other. They share a better understanding and maturity. Also , like you said, inspite of her dislike for Naina and for obvious reasons, Ritu is willing to support and help Raj in his endeavour to protect Naina from the hawks around her,
Yes, RN have a mutual respect and admiration for each other and are bond by the loss of their friend/brother Navin. However, Naina's trust in Raj varies at different situation. If she believes Raj to be her true to her and her brother, then she should have full faith in him that he would never spoil her reputation. He may be angry with her or shout at her, but doing something which will mar her name, that Raj will never do and if Naina doesn't believe that blindly then where is the question of trust ?
Moreover, really can't figure out Naina's feelings for Huda. Instead of being angry with him and giving him a well deserved slap, she allows him to announce to everyone how he is going to win her back. She actually smiled after he left. Therefore whom Naina cares for or loves, is really confusing.
