Well idont think sso they were because of guilt but i thought they were because of the pain he was badly injured and was managing to stand up so when beside pain u do some thing tears automatically come in yours eyes
as for raj killed navin i dont think he doesnt seems to b acharacter who can kill or cannot help his best friend
but u never know may be they show him like that but seriously if he can risk his life for his sister he can risk it for him too so for if it happens in the serial i would not like it

maybe i agree the tears is because that he saw that his favourite cadet has come to save his life and he has succeed in making naina the best cadet of the academy
