Shveta's second coming
The actor has her kitty full with four shows including 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'

Having recently recovered from a bout of jaundice, actor Shveta Salve has her kitty full of TV projects. Currently, Shveta is playing the savvy TV channel head Malaika in 'Kituu Sab Jaanti Hai' (Sahara One).
Shveta says that playing Malaika is challenging. "Malaika is just not me. She believes in male-bashing and is full of eccentricities." She adds, "At the same time she is religious and goes around carrying a rudraksh. She is not the romantic type who'd fall in love easily, but may take a fancy for a smart guy."
Though the show primarily revolves around actor Ami Trivedi playing Kituu, Shveta reasons why she agreed to be part of the show, "I have worked with producer Manish Goswami in shows 'Kittie Party' and 'Sarrkar'. So this is home ground for me."
Shveta is also excited about playing a psychiatrist in 'Left Right Left' (SAB). She says, "As Dr Ritu Mishra I have a cool role." Ask Shveta about her co-star Rajeev Khandelwal and she says, "I find Rajeev to be a friendly and a down-to-earth guy contrary to the opinion created about him.We vibe well. There is subtle romance brewing between us on screen." Incidentally, Shveta is also enjoying her stint as an anchor for 'Popkorn' (Zoom) as it allows her "ad-lib improvising".
Is she preparing hard to prove herself as a dancing diva in the reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' (Sony)? Shveta laughs and says, "It's all about ball-room dancing. I am not a trained western dancer nor do I know how to fox trot, waltz or do the samba. However, I am a trained kathak dancer. And since I am paired with ace choreographer Longinus, I guess I will learn a lot."
