Rang De Basanti and LRL

The male cadets have startling similarities to the characters in Rang De Basanti and must have been mirrored as them:

Huda- Aamir Khan's Character (Mischievious Punjabi Loud Mouths)

Yudi- Sharman Joshi's Character (Comedy Relief- Skinny Goofball)

Ali- Kunal Kapoor's Character (Muslim Nice Guy- Good Friend)

Alekh- Siddhartha's Character (Brooding, Angry Young Man)

Also, in the movie there are two girls also included in the group, but the personalities differ.

Interesting, huh? It seems like the writers have been influenced by various movies (Rang De Basanti, Main Hoon Na, etc.).

I haven't seen Rang de Basanti. 😃

yup...thats exactly what struck me also while watching lrl today!! yudi even looks like sharman joshi at times! 😛 ali is a lot like aslam...and so are the other two...!
